I'm super late on this one but Jameson totally smoked in Raimi's films. Remember in the first when he & Peter are going back & forth, he's puffing on a cigar, tosses it out the window & the Goblin tosses it back up on to his desk?

But yeah, doubtful there will be any instances like this in the new films.

Well, yea, of course they did, because the MPAA board now considers it when rating movies.
