Iron Man Marvel crossover *Rumor*

I could see a scene where the Hulk is on TV in Iron Man.... like the Hank cameo in X2. I think we need a scene with Norton though... maybe the Fury scene at a party with prominent military scientists and experts/researchers, and Banner shows up and pops a joke to Stark.

I hope this pans out. That's the perfect ending for both of these films. Simply have Jackson walk into the room and say something simple like, "Who I am is not important. What I need to talk to you about is very important." And then the screen goes black. Maybe even have this as a mid- or post-credit sequence as movies love to do recently (X3, all POTCs, FF:ROTSS, etc.)
What's the scene after the credits in FF:ROTSS!?

I can see Tony getting a phone call off Fury, then have them meet on the hellicarrier.
Fury could say he has someone he wants Tony to meet. In comes Bruce.
Fury mentions how weirdo's are popping up all over the place and Stark should consider forming some kind of Super team.
Then Stark could ask Bruce, well whats so special about you and Bruce could just smile.
Obviously Hulk is released after Iron Man so there may have to be some kind of date to show that this happens after the events of The Incredible Hulk.
Unless of course this scene is just in The Incredible Hulk.

I totally forgot about this picture :D

It was posted sometime in August..

I could see Stark (not Iron Man) showing up in TIH, but not the other way around. As someone said, the timing doesn't line up to have Iron Man and Hulk. It would be great to see Stark in TIH, a nice little foreshadow to future events.

There's no reason the time-lines can't work together. None at all. I don't see why people keep conjuring up problems like this.

sounds cool.

hopefully it's just something subtle

I thought that the Hulk was exposed to gamma radiation? I've heard that they are using the Super Soldier Serum origin for the film The Incredible Hulk,]but was that part of any revamped comic book cannon?

what?

This is great news, I was expecting, or at least hoping for crossover cameos since Marvel movies have been being made.
Anything from a glimpse of another hero on a newspaper, or a t.v. report would suit me.
For actual interaction to abound, that be fantastic so long as it is well orchestrated.

So long as it doesn't feel forced, or ridiculously out of place or tempo with the movie. Actually, I'd find it hard for them to really incorporate interaction, as that would take some sort of setup to lead into it, it would take you out of the main storylines and disrupt the flow, ...
So the only logical thing for me is the news example or something in that area.

It would be really difficult to have Stark and Banner together... you would have to pay one of the actors for being in 2 movies, and that could rise the budget significantly...

How so? It's not like they'd have to pay Norton or Downey their full salary TWICE. It would be a cameo scene. Surely, they'd be paid something extra for making the appearance... unless it was already stipulated in their contracts.

Marvel has been planning on an Avengers movie for quite some time. Whether it happens is irrelevant... it's been on Marvel's mind. Them putting in clauses requiring cameos wouldn't be too hard to imagine.

In any case, cameos are no bank-busters. Hell, the actors might even waive asking for extra $$$ (which would be minimal anyway) if they're into the projects.

I hope this rumor is true. If it is, how much you want to bet the Superman vs. Batman rumors are brought back up again. :o

You don't have to pay that much for cameos. That cost would be nearly negligible compared to the budget. Really, people need to stop making up reasons to pout.

they should have abomination throw hulk in the air then hulk see ironman flying and says "hey whats goin on ironman". lol

but seriously ironman and hulk in one movie is gonna be big. its gonna be bigger than uncle sam's nipple. lol jk

Honestly, I'm for the idea of a Marvel Crossover, hell...it's the FIRST Marvel Crossover, if it indeed happens.

Be it a vs scene, or perhaps a cameo. I just want to see it happen.

I'm sure they wouldn't be complete ***** about it, not over one scene that'll take a few hours out of their day.

No.

No.

There's a million ways they could work in a cameo for Bruce Banner in the Iron Man movie.

Now if it's a shared scene (one that will pop up in both films), that's definitely trickier.

If the Hulkbusters use Stark Tech for their weapons, a quick video phone call between Ross and Stark might be a way to do it.

How about this: A flashback scene where young Stark and young Banner are together?

Like a shy, nerdy Banner sitting in the corner of some party casting an envious eye over Tony and his many ladyfriends having a really good time?

You guys are REALLY going overboard on this.

You are expecting way to much from this crossover rumor, if anything, there is no way that you will see Iron Man fly over the Hulk battle, or ever Hulk himself in the IM movie.

Most likely, it would probably be something like in the Hulk movie, they use some weapons from Stark Enterprises , or maybe in the IM movie, Bruces name is brought up.

Or maybe you are just wrong. :whatever: cameo means an appearance, not reference. But it's all rumors for now. Nothing solid.
