Iron Man Tons of positive early screening Iron Man reviews

All these positive reviews are ****ing great!!

I wasn't expecting this many, I figured critics would be getting sick of comic films by now and this would be getting so so reviews.

Iron Man is 28 Fresh, 2 Rotten (93%) at RottenTomatoes.com right now.

81 at Metacritic. I usually take the average of RT & MC to get a general feel for how a movie is, though I favor MC.

Fav's always injected style & charm into his work as opposed to Bay who always seemed to me to be someone who came from the music video directing world along with McG. Maybe he did, I dunno.

Up to 94% on Rotten Tomatoes. The two negative reviews that were some of the first ones posted are still the only two negative reviews.

this is phenomenal. knew it would get good reviews, didn't expect this good. top superhero film next to SM2 now on RT?

Higher actually. SM2(& Supes 1 for that matter) are at 93%.

Actually i think Superman 1 is the highest with 95 percent. Still Tony is in elite company.

I just checked, it's 93%. Used to be higher though.

I honestly think the favorable reviews for S1 are primarily out of nostalgia more than anything. It just doesn't hold up that well for me. Once Ned Beatty's character comes on screen, it gets way too "comical".

not that anyone cares, Jett from BOF gave it a B...

Wow... its TDK people that are making this an issue... not IM people... and I don't get it... I am generalizing here but still... yeah TDK will make more money... its Batman... do I give a ****? NO!!! Should anyone give a ****? NO!!! Because we all want these movies to do well if you are a fan. But time and again we got to see Nolan or DC people make it a Marvel vs DC thing... seriously give us a break and be thankful you have a franchise... that's all I can say to that. I can personally don't give two ****'s about competition that won't actually be competing with each other considering they are more than 2 months apart.

I just saw the advance screening in NYC and it was all i hoped it would be and more.I don't have time to recount the entire movie but i will say the characters were well played with great acting. Also, more importantly i think, the suits were amazing. Seamless effects that really achieved the desired effects. In a word, awesome. I am also now continuing my actual project to complete an awesome, if lacking a few features, Iron Man suit of my own. I am an inventor and an engineer and i have faith i can do it and this movie has spurred me on. 12 out of ten rating from me!:woot:

I have only one thing to say after what I believe will be a very successful Iron Man film...

AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!!!!

*cough*

Listen to this grouch from the Washington Post, she needs to smoke something light...

"Toggling between Stark's impish goatee and Iron Man's full-metal body condom, and amid so many generic fireballs, kill shots and earsplitting thumps, bumps and crunches, the film finally collapses under its own weight. "

One of the 5 negative reviews out of 77.

She must've gave herself a pat on the back for coming up with this "full-metal body condom" line. :whatever:

That right there is a man-hating *****, who prbably can't find some loving at all. I know these types of women. I work with tons of them....... i hate life.

screw the man hater, she sounds like an old crazy cat lady anyways. lol. And yes the pun at the beginning was intended.

Seriously though, I've no problem with people expressing their differing opinions on a film, but if your going to flame a movie, then come up with better reasons then Iron Man's iconic costume.

It's like not liking the Hulk because he is green.

You can obviously tell that she is a fat crumb man hating *****. She doesn't even have a pic up of her on RottenTomatoes. So I did a search for her name on "the google", and found this:

I'd hit it. and then again.

^Iron Man has one of the best designed suits in the entire Marvel Universe, the lady obviously has no idea what she's talking about.

Tomatometer is back at 95%. I've been keeping an eye on it the past day or so, and it's been in the 90's the whole time. I knew the film would do good, but not this good, really surpassing my expectations critic wise. And I honestly feel this can top Spider-Man 2, which is my favorite comic book movie.
