Marvel Studios’ SDCC 2022 Hall H Panel - Predictions & Discussion Thread

It could but I'm willing to bet money that it won't.
I'm just thinking with Doom, Galactus, CeleXtials, PhoeniX force, Kang and whatever thing that was teased in Shang-Chi. They are a lot more options than secret Wars. Secret wars would be like what 3rd or 4th attempt at the Multiverse.

I wouldn’t set my expectations too high.
It’s only 60min, and BP2, She Hulk and I am Groot will probably take 30-40min.
That leaves a little room for the Werwolf-announcement (because when else - September is too late).
And then a few words, maybe footage for Quantumania, Guardians and Marvels
Ending with a release date for Blade.

The Fantastic4 casting announcements need a bit more time than just 5min.

Then again it’s ComiCon. It’s where the real comicbook-fans are…they’re not at D23

I sure won’t be dissapointed, because the teaser for BP2 is my most anticipated news right now

There’s a rumor that the F4 casting announcement will be at D23. I don’t know if it’s been debunked yet.

I think we can guarantee a BP2 trailer and some She-Hulk stuff. Beyond that, it is a guessing game.

What would get me the most excited? Show me the FF cast and name a director. I don't care what else you do, if I am given that.... A+ panel

They could easily spend 20 min on Panther and SheHulk each, but.....
a last 10 min section where Feige shows Phase 5 logos one after another would be more than enough to get everyone on the audience and online on crazy mode.

I dont think we are going to get as expansive a slate as we all want. I think we will get a few things, like Cap 4 stuff and such. But really if they want to have that drop the mic moment everyone will remember, I think announcing the FF is what is going to do that.

of course. But that doesnt mean Feige wont announce 4-6 new titles. They did that at Comic Con 2019 after all, revealing the next 10 Marvel projects. I highly highly doubt Feige skips the full panel reveal this time around. The big question mark is how many new logos he will include. Maybe the number will be short, but a full panel? yeah, he will do it. Its Marvel's trend after all. They know it works and that the image will be used everywhere. Its marketing, and they are sooo smart at that.

Remember when they announced that Doctor Strange 2 would be called Multiverse of Madness and it would have Wanda starring the movie too? Or Love and Thunder with Portman returning?

I mean, they could surprise us like that too, by revealing more about the stories of their upcoming movies, not only revealing new titles.

What's the prediction on date and time this would happen?

That presentation was 2 hrs. This one is 1hr. So I doubt we see that many project reveals.

I'm hoping for a nice update on Thunderbolts. Official announcement, cast, director confirmation. I'm curious if that's the project Feige said Johansson will be producing alongside of him

I wouldn't hold my breath on any live action X-Men news but a director update for FF would be nice...

According to Grace Randolph, Marvel's SDCC presentation will stick to already announced projects, with any new announcements being held till D23. While I know it's Grace Randolph, this kinda rings true, knowing it will only be a 1 hr. presentation. If they announce anything beyond the titles already revealed, it will be something like giving titles to the already revealed dates for Nov. 2023, and 2024.

Grace Randolph already knows, that the Fantastic 4 will be Dark Phoenix themselves…

Called it.

But at least we should get the trailer for Wakanda Forever which should have been out by now.

She's been done dirty in the MCU up until now so I hope she gets to shine in Cap 4.

she was supposed to have the black widow role in winter soldier but her schedule with taping the show "revenge" prevented that.

Then what about Civil War? oh it was basically Avengers 3.

Lost me right there. Grace Randolph knows Jack squat about anything. When someone with REAL credentials says something, I will listen. But her....yeah no

I dont think there will be major reveals in this panel. Wakanda Forever will probably be the main attraction and they’ll reveal that Namor is making his debut. We’ll probably get a new She-Hulk trailer, first looks at Quantumania, The Marvels and GotG 3.

I do think he’ll end the panel with some kind of cryptic tease on F4.

once again.... Feige himself said its been 3 years since "we were there, and mostly everything we announced already got released" (....) so "we are ready to talk about the future"

what more do we need???? lol

Oh didn’t realise he said that, cool!
