I could see them including Shadowcat but bi-passing the phase move completely (as in, she wouldn't be able to get through the walls). She would perhaps be able to phase through enemies or something... or one of her moves could be to turn phase "On" (like invisible woman) and only during then could she phase through the enemies/objects (but not walls).

For instance- I'm pretty sure that the real life Nightcrawler would be able to bamf through any wall he wanted to; but he doesn't in the game. It would be the same for Kitty, no?

And what would going through the ground achieve???

I would want her to be able to phase through breakable walls within the confines of the level, not the exterior walls that go out into...space, I guess.
I don't think she should be able to phase into locked areas or passed doors that are locked to the rest of the team.
Like I said before, she could just say something like "I can't leave the rest of the team" or something.
Or hell, let her, if you're dumb enough to run through a sea of enemies with one character who isn't gifted with offensive powers, then you'll get killed as soon as your energy runs down, and you'll deserve it too.

Surprise moves where she appears behind the enemy for an attack. Kitty can definetly be done but I dont think her abilities led her to be an interesting character. Id imagine she'd be quite boring

I'm pretty sure Blade & Elektra won't be coming back.

In the GI, they said Activision researched the most popular moves & said those are coming back (they specifically said Caps' shield throw). So I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same with the characters. So, I'm pretty sure people like Deadpool & Nightcrawler will appear. When I play MUA online, those 2 are almost always picked.

Just like Colossus, Wolverine, Storm, and Iceman? Cuz they've ben in all 3 as well, but no one *****es and moans why they should be out. Nightcrawler is an incredibly interesting character, it just sucks that Deadpool can teleport, therefore taking everything unique about Nightcrawler but his looks(and I might lose nerd points, but I never saw Deadpool teleport in the comics, unless he bodyslid with Nathan, did they just add that for the game?).

I always wondered why Deadpool could teleport in the game.

In his own comic, Deadpool did have a teleportation device in his belt. It was build by Weasel I think. He mostly used it for long range travels and to get home. He wasn't a frequent teleporter or used it in battle like Nightcrawler.

I seriously hope Iceman and Collossus don't return, they've been done to death. Sure Storm and Wolverine have too, but they are two of Marvel's most popular characters, and they're going to be in regardless.
