Yeah. I figured. There were problems with the codes when they first came out anyway so there was no guarantee it'd work.

Wasn't X-Men Legends 3 announced?

I'm down for XML3 as long as its not made by the people who made MUA2

No X-Men Legends 3, but there are at least two upcoming X-Men video games from Activision and possibly Vicarious Visions.

Does anyone know how to turn on the co-op functions local/no internet (2 players) for PS3?

I threw my directions away and I wanted to play with a buddy but we can't figure it out.

Ok so I hadn't played M:UA2 since I beat it when the game came out but I thought for the heck of it I'd jump on again just to play a little. I couldn't even walk to the next stage I was so pissed thinking how I was screwed outta the DLC. I trying fighting a few guards and kept thinking how I'll never get Cable or Carnage or anyone from that set and because they weren't more clear on the guidelines of the DLC. Almost makes me wanna trade in my MUA2 and I NEVER trade in superhero video games...

Yea, they werent very vocal about the DLC, altho it was stated in the press release that the DLC was a limited time deal.

Guess the chance of getting a DLC of Ghost Rider or anyone else is very slim to none now huh? :o

No Cyclops or Hawkeye for me. :(

I still find it incredibly dumb that Iceman gets in but the leader of the X-Men with a much more large & vocal fanbase doesn't.

It's easier to create different moves with Iceman. His power is very versatile in comparison to Summers'.

So, I've been replaying this recently and discovered that Iron Man's repulsors aren't as useless as I thought at first. I actually manage to down bosses in 2-3 seconds with them.

They are useless on the ground, but when I fly above the enemy and rain the repulsors on their heads, they die within seconds. But I have to shoot them from the right angle. I can't simply hover in the air behind someone and shoot them in the head, I might as well stay on the ground, but if I'm in front of them, suddenly the damage increases like crazy. So basically, shoot them in the ****ing face while airborn.

This game would be a lot more fun if they had continued with new DLC

yeah it got pretty boring pretty fast. AND I can't find those goddamn Runes or M'Krann or Gamma pieces anywhere. It's getting annoying

DLC couldn't have helped this game too much. The story and gameplay are bland.

So far, X-Men Legends 2 was the best game they've done in this series.

Yea i traded this in ages ago. Once the novelty of playing as your favourite characters wears off, the game is actually pretty crap to be honest. It's just so repetitive.

I hate the idea of trading in a Superhero game but this one really makes me want to. After getting screwed on the DLC and trying to replay it recently I couldn't find myself enjoying it past killing a few guards. What a shame...

I still think X-Men Legends 1 was superior... It had a much better, and more focused story, where the levels felt relevant and part of the story, rather than just an excuse for big set pieces and marvel locations, and the over all level design was better too, with multiple paths and destructible walls. It felt more like huge areas, rather than just a linear path. Also it felt less like a simple beat em up, with those sections where you needed a particular characters powers to overcome an area, like flying characters picking up another character, or nightcrawler bamfing through a wall... The kind of stuff that actually made you feel like a team.

I still think XML2 was the best of all the games. XML1 is a close second

The first Marvel Ultimate Alliance was the best IMO. Huge roster and big story. I've replayed that game 6,0000 times

For me that was the worst. The graphics were subpar. The story was bland and lacked focus, the gameplay was dumbed down. Instead of improving upon what was provided in XML2, it felt more like a downgrade. I liked it when it came out and had fun with it, but in comparison with the rest, it doesnt hold up as well. I would rank them

XML2
XML1
MUA2
MUA1

I don't like trading in games I bought dlc for, but I traded this in a while ago too, for a while I thought I would even try to platinum this game but I didn't feel it was good enough to play thru several times over, and I agree with XML2 being the best game of the bunch
