Marvel Updates? (Maybe Spoilers)

So I was thinking the other day,
It seems like Marvel is trying to update their universe.
Steve Rogers was replaced by Bucky Barnes.
Scott Summers in now running Xavier's school, replaced Xavier sort of.
Dr. Strange is looking for a his replacement as Sorcerer Supreme.

SHIELD has become HAMMER

Are there any other changes that are occuring in Marvel?
And do these updates bother anyone?
Does anyone hope these updates stick?

Some people say that they would like the comic characters to age realistically, and see things change realistically.
What do you guys think?
