I loved the Cap movie much more than Thor but Loki gets the edge here. As cool as the Skull was, he was kind of one note and didn't get as much chance to stand out as a great villain.

I expected much more outta Hugo as the Skull - he was still pretty cool and better than any of the Hulk villains so far IMO, but didn't have the depth that Loki did in the Thor movie. I thought he had a pretty darn good showing and came off as more likable then Thor did for much of the movie...

I think that Red Skull could have been better, but I feel the same with Loki. I didn't like how they made him a bit sympathetic. He should be pure evil to me. I'll go with red Skull here.

Yeah, Loki is supposed to be sympathetic.

I don't think they made him sympathetic enough. One of the main reasons he's such an evil *****e is because he is well aware that he was the unwanted son of a frost Giant and destined to f**k everything up because everybody told him so every day of his life. (Which is cruel and usual punishment when you factor in the whole immortality thing.) And don't even get me started on his abandonment issues with Thor.

That's why he's one of the best characters in comics. Dudes complicated.
