Forgive me for being WAY behind on this, but I just read the Marval Zombies Hardcover and I got to say that I loved it. It had me laughing throughout the whole book (which is kind of wired since it's suppose to be a horror book).

In any case, my favorite parts had to be: Spiderman crying for eating MJ and his aunt, Caps new hair-do (thanks to Magneto), Dr. Banner's full stomach and Hercules trying to take away the Hulk's food. Post your thoughts/reviews of the book if you'd like. I'm interested in hearing what other people thought of this book (story arc).

I loved it. I kind of want to buy the Hardcover for all of the covers, but I own all of the issues, so I'd probably be wasting $20.

Oui oui. Though they're kind of trying to fix that it seems.

Either way, Marvel Zombies was cool aside from the end.

You didn't like the ending of 1602? I really liked it.

Apparently a Marvel Zombies Prequel is already underway. Preview pics right here: http://www.606studios.com/bendisboard/showthread.php?t=87194

The finished pic of Spidey's attack on MJ is pretty awesome.

Me personally? I was fine with the ending, you gotta really think it thorugh, but I can see how some would be disappointed.

i also heard a little bit ago about a prequel mini.. that would be awesome. i loved marvel zombies and i think the ending was ok... i never saw that commin till the end.

The ending sucked.

So why didn't you like the ending? They are zombies that are hungry and go from planet to planet looking for food (like Galactius).

For some reason, I expected the alien dad to want to send his son, in a spaceship, to another world because he knew the end of his planet was near and that they wouldn't be able to stop the invasion. Would this have been legal?

I thought the ending was okay. Anyone else have any ideas for a better ending?

I loved the ending of Zombies, it was hillarious :o

Plus now Ultimate Doom is in the Zombie Universe, so that hsa some poential.:xmen:

I doubt you can copyright the "sending your child offworld because it's about to explode" concept, but who knows.

my shop never seemed to have gotten the trade in, so there is no way that I can buy it. looking forward to the sequal so i can get it when it shows up

Aside from a few inconsistencies in the way characters acted from their original appearance in the UFF arc to this miniseries, I really enjoyed it - ending and all. The artwork when they took down Galactus really conveyed the sense of rabidity and hunger that you'd expect from flesh eating superheroes.

Yes I did just say that.

A book store in a mall may have it, or they can definitly order a copy for you. Then there is always websites you can buy it from. Like ebay or amazon. Ordering it from a book store will probably be the easiest.:xmen:

It always amazes me that people seem unaware they can ask their shop to get any trade that's still in print in-stock for them.

Part of me kind of wanted to see zombie Spider-Man sabotage their machine at the end so that they couldn't eat Galactus and all die like he said he wanted to in the first issue.

Still a really fun mini-series. :D

How many super heroes have that origin? Supes, Goku, Norrin Radd's is very, very, slightly similiar(Yes, I'm gonna count that even though its not exactly the same.)

Loved the series, and thought the ending was hillariously ironic.

I have the hard cover and it's gorgous, as it reprints all the covers and the originals they were based on, as well as a foreword by Kirkman.

I'm in for the prequel. No one does zombie books quite like Kirkman. My only complaint is I'd like to see more variety in the zombie design instead of just missing lips.

A sequel would be cool, with the left over hereos left in Avalon, and we haven't seen Thanos or the rest of superpowered beings yet.

It would be cool to see either a prequel or sequal or both. The series was good and hopefully whatever they do next with it will be good too.

A prequel would be a great idea. I'd love to see Spiderman eating his wife and aunt. I'm sure the other heros would be eating their family member's as well.

The one question I hope gets answerwed, is why/how did these hereos become zombies. Regular people didn't become zombies and not all super powered people (Magneto, Black Panther) became zombies.

Not always! This guy out here won't because too many people have ripped him off by NOT buying the book when it Arrived.

I can usually get the same book cheaper on Amazon.com than I can at my local comic book store (which actually takes a lot longer).
