Marvel's Black & Minority Characters: Roundtable Discussion

Rock, I don't believe in stupid questions. But I know you're not dense. I know you're better than this. I tried to clarify my point for you, as your question indicated that you hadn't yet read the previous post that I referenced before interjecting yourself into the discussion. Your follow-up response was rather rude, and was far beside the point of what I had just explained to you, and to the discussion of the entire previous page. Which, if you had read only a few posts, would've helped you to understand before deciding to just nitpick someone's individual statements out of context.

Don't know what to tell ya, dude. I'd read the entire conversation. I wasn't quite sure what you meant in the part I highlighted, so I asked. You answered. I responded to your post. Maybe I should have done it like this:

Ah, I see. Yeah, That can be said for every comic book character at Marvel and DC.:up:

Didn't feel it was necessary. Definitely not going to apologize for imagined rudeness.

I don't want you to apologize. I'm over it. I love you, brother. We're here because we both love comics. It's all good.

If you pay attention, 90% of the complaints most people have about New X-Men forcus on the last couple of story arcs (especially Planet X). Otherwise, there was some really good stuff during his run. I liked mutants becoming their own subculture, and I wish someone would bring back the U-Men villains.

I did like John Sublime and the U-Men :up:

Even post-M Day, the U-Men would make a great set of villains. A bunch of humans who kidnap and amputate mutants of their unique body parts, then surgically put them on themselves so they can also be mutants. Imagine how many depowered mutants would join the U-Men in an attempt to be special again.

Get on the ball, Marvel! :cmad:

:cmad: I have been reorganizing my comics and I went back and re-read The Crew all I can say is

Mutha**** Marvel in there dumb ******* ***** for not giving this book a shot
:cmad::cmad::cmad:

But that is itself a comment. A comment that now has me curious. :o

I just feel that Marvel is throwing away a lot of good characters,... I should say DC is mucking it up the same way, but this is a Marvel board.

Well, Rhodey's terrible series is over and Fraction seems to be integrating him into the Invincible Iron Man cast, so maybe he'll be good again. I mean, more likely, he'll wind up playing second-fiddle to Tony again and act as backup whenever Tony calls, but it's better than being a crazy, murderous cyborg.

I'm like to think the Cyborg thing never happened just like the alien suit.

A documentary I want to check out:

If I can write comic books, I'll make an unique superhero with a Chinese/Asian character as the protagonist, because there just aren't enough Asian superheroes in the comicdom imo.

I miss the convo's in this thread...
