Mass Effect 3

Man, I hope Mass Effect 3 isn't Dragon Age II with space weapons. Uuuuugghhhhh...

:awesome:

Yeah, but will I be able to have someone replace him or will I just be looking at a blank slot the entire game? That's more of what I'm wondering. My 'canon' Shep got everyone out alive, so I'm good on that one.

I think the former is more likely, worst-case scenario you'll likely have a core group of plot critical NPCs plus the 2 you needed to survive the suicide mission for but anything more than that I imagine is going to rely on how you actually did.

With Miranda & Ashley in the game it would be bad ass if neutral Sheppard gets both chicks to get along. At least Ashley would like the fact that Miranda is a Human. At least Miranda & Ashley better be in the squad & not just in the game

Ashley's a complete biyatch though. My Shep originally was with her but ended up with Miranda at the end. I can see Ashley causing trouble with her atittude loud mouth. Miranda tends to not get close to other people as she puts up walls. I dont see the two women getting along too well. I can see Ashley being frustrated with her and Miranda really not caring

I accidentally picked Liara instead of Ashley, so I guess I'll have both Liara and Miranda to choose in ME3. Btw, since I haven't finished Shadow Broker mission yet, is it possible to have a fling with Liara in that mission but still continue my romance with Miranda?

I also accidentally picked Liara but thanks to the interactive comic, I was able to rectify that choice. No clue on how SB handles this. I think I read you can romance both as it operates independtly from the main game

Did you port your ME1 saved file to ME2? Because I did and I didn't see any interactive comic. I thought it was only for PS3 owners because they don't have ME1.

I was a ME1 PC player and played ME2 on the PS3. I used the comic to import all my decisions and altered the romance one to what I originally intended

I really hope it can be in the squad Sheppard, Ashley & Miranda. The dialogue as we are walking / running & what not would be amusing I bet

Oh, I see.

Let me guess, you tried for the threesome and Ashley left? :funny:

So, did anyone upload the full GI scans yet?

To be brutally honest, I think Liara's one of the dullest characters in Mass Effect's roster. Samara, despite her cultish do-gooder inclinations, had a much better personality. However, my ideal choice for an asari squadmate would be Aria. She was one of the best additions to the Mass Effect universe right alongside the Illusive Man and it would be great to have her tag along on my space misadventures.

I found pretty much every character boring.
Thankfully, Bioware had the common sense to dress them up in S&M gear and not bother with bra's.

I love Ashley's new design. :o

And Garrus will definitely be on my team again.

The only reason I can see Cerberus going after Sheppard is if you decide to destroy that base at the end of the second one. Unless Sheppard does something else to piss off the Elusive man ? & I hope there is better text size this time

Of course you will find every character boring, what with that condescending head so far up your arse.

Cup, why is it any time I see your name, it involves you going into the thread of a popular game, bashing it until you get a response, and then complaining about the response that you get?

I strongly encourage everyone to keep it civil, and Cup....if you don't like the Mass Effect series, speak your mind and move on. No need to turn this into another Skyrim thread where you just keep on ranting until you have annoyed everyone.

Or if he did destroy it, the Illusive Man figures that Shepard has served him as much as he can and wants to take out any perspective competition for leadership.

Actually come to think of it, that pre-order fellow with the scars was pretty interesting, to bad he was more along the lines of extra DVD material than a corner stone.

Oy. If you troll the thread, Cup, I'm going to probate you. Fair warning.

I wonder if there are going to be different openings depending on if you played Arrival or not. [BLACKOUT]Forcing the deaths of 300,000 Batarians onto players who didn't even download that DLC would be kind of a ****** thing to do. [/BLACKOUT]

[BLACKOUT]Though I guess my theory that Shepard is on trial for something else might be true, and if you've played Arrival, they kind of throw that into the trial as well.[/BLACKOUT]

It may be part of the interactive comic. You may only get to see The Arrival part of the comic if you import ME2 file without The Arrival date.

As far as I can see, I made a single post simply giving my opinion without insulting or disrespecting anyone. Not multiple posts page after page, a single post. A fairly lighthearted one no less that actually, when you look at it, wasn't even contrarian to the original. And if you look at the majority of my posts, you will find them across the board, objective as possible. Further more, if the tables were turned i.e. I threw a hissy fit, I suspect you would probably be fairly fast to send out a warning or ban. Instead, and rather predictably, it's my fault
someone can't control themselfs.

Why is it the only time I have seen you threaten me is when it's about games you have outright praised as the greatest games in the world? I know the Skyrim thread and Mass Effect thread aren't the only threads you frequent. In fact, compared to the majority of threads, I very rarely enter these particular threads unless something significant is released. When the thread was created, we weren't even aware it was "3". We were basically speculating it was a Halo Reach multiplayer type spin-off for the Spike VGA trailer.

How exactly is that trolling? He was a good character, he was shoved in the background as little more than a pre-order incentive. He probably wont even be in Mass Effect 3.
Hell, this randomly googled image search gamer website basically almost directly echo's what I think. It wouldn't be surprising if the majority of people feel the same.

Zaeed might seem like a throwaway DLC character at first, but he's actually pretty interesting. He is fully integrated into the game and cusses a lot, but instead of throwing a screaming tantrum like Jack does, he's got a scowling British scumbag style that I think you'll warm up to. If you're looking to add a little Guy Ritchie to your Mass Effect 2 experience, he's the way to go. Don't forget to check in with him in Normandy's cargo hold for some amusing stories, and his Inferno Grenade is a hell of a lot of fun to use, too

Edit:

Haha, that's the first thought that pops into my head whenever I see one of his posts.

This isn't objective. This isn't Mass Effect related. It is simply and purely, incitement. Of course, that's also my fault.

you may want to put spoiler warnings around your post as not everyone has played Arrival
