Tricia Helfer Returning to Mass Effect 3

The tweet, posted on Monday, reads: “Just finished my first voice session for EDI in #MassEffect3. Fun!”

EDI and Jack were really cool to talk to. I'm glad she's back.

Cool, now we just need EDI to take an android form ( ;) ) and become a party member :p

As long as she's wearing a red dress, I'd be down. I wonder if we'll get a new Normandy in the beginning of the game. I hope not, because I love the Normandy 2.
It would be cool to have a huge Battleship as a base though...

I hope they don't do that again. There's a lot I hope they don't do again.

Destroying the Normandy, killing Shepard again, etc would be wreckless. Just keep it as it is.

I could see Shepard getting transferred to a different ship and giving the Normandy to one of the survivors from ME2.

God, I hope not. Plus, who's going to transfer him? Shepard is on his own now. (At least mine is.)

Shepard without the Normandy would be like a 4th of July without the barbecue. It just wouldn't feel right at all.

Yeah, it wouldn't feel right. I don't think they'll kill shepard off or destroy the Normandy. It seems like ME3 takes places fairly soon after 2. I didn't mean destroying the Normandy and then you get a battleship, but more like you have a huge Battleship to take into battles with the Reapers, and the Normandy is used for missions and stuff. The Battleship could be stationary, like Hawke's house in Dragon Age.

I hope Admiral Hackett plays a bigger part in 3, glad to see they're finally putting a face to the voice.

I wouldn't mind perhaps a refit like how the Enterprise from the original series and the one from the movies were the same ship though being aesthetically different from one another.

As for a base, Liara's Shadowbroker ship should do quite nicely as a headquarters.

So anyone else expecting the Rachni to play a part in this? Presuming you saved them in the first one.

I think thats a given, regarding their message to Shepard in ME 2

they better considering they played no role in ME2. I think the Asari message was a way for the developers to let us know that they havent abandoned it but that it will reprecussions in the future. I like that a decision in ME1 will have a direct consequence in ME3 and its not simply ME2 affecting ME3

Yea i'm thinking in ME3 Shepard is gonna have to go build an army. He'll have to search for the mysterious planet the Rachni Queen is on or something.

I imagine that will be the bulk of the next game, building an army instead of just recruiting people for a team.

Well, I didn't really expect them to have much of a role in 2 since they're technically still rebuilding. Getting that nod from them was good enough for me.

Yeah, I expect ME3 to be grand in scale.

I am expecting that we'll go to the Turian homeworld at some point and hopefully get to meet the Vakarian's. After reading Garrus' file in Shadowbroker his family situation is practically screaming side quest.

I think so too. I expect you'll be traveling to the homeworlds of the various races and trying to convince them to join your cause.

ya know now you mention it I don't think they would make a new Normandy...but since the Normandy SR2 got damaged quite a fair bit in the Collector's mission I could imagine Bioware using that as an excuse to upgrade the interior of the ship quite a bit.

I'm thinking ME3 will be like DA Origins. Recruiting the various races to your cause to fight a greater evil, but each has a little problem they need your help with.
