They've always been here. It's just now we live in a world where they get covered by the news networks all day.

Yeah they've been around forever. In the past they were called werewolves and vampires or they joined the military. Now a days they are shown for who and what they are.

I am all for strengthening the laws, and I'm not a proponent for semi-automatic gun ownership....but banning all guns is something that is just not going to happen, and I don't think that it should. Also, um, prohibition didn't work.....

Prohibiton didn't work out so great. You ever heard of this guy named Al Capone ? Capone and people like him kept America supplied with alcohol despite the ban.

I'm betting this gunman didn't even know the difference between Sikhs and Muslims. So not only is this a horrific act but a massively ignorant one too.

Killing either group would/is horrible but that ignorance really tops off the senselessness in all of this.

Seconded....coming on the heels of the theater shooting, the only response I can even muster is a facepalm at the utter senselessness.

When will this all end? I mean, when the Aurora shooting happened people jumped on some of us for being desensitized but I mean, this just keeps happening to the point where it's almost expected. That in itself is a lot sadder IMO than the actual shootings.

True, the casualties were more, but this is a hate crime.
