Mass Violence in America: the All Inclusive Thread

The states with the least or no gun control. What a surprise.

You can't legitimately do anything by accident wilthout fear of some ******* with a gun shooting you.

People have somehow become desensitized to what it means to take a life.

A woman my wife works with has a daughter that is a cheerleader. She has been in a bunch of competitions with the one shot in the back. She says she is the sweetest least intimidating person you could meet.
I really hate this idea of shoot first, ask questions later. I drive a black Honda CRV. There's TONS of them. I've walked up to the wrong vehicle many times, it's an easy mistake to make. :( Shouldn't have to get shot for it. :(

I have a grey Toyota Corolla....wish I had a nickle for everyone of those I see in a day.

This is what happens when hate spreads and we are afraid of anyone who isnt "us".

After all of the violence and warnings that guns aren’t toys, people still shoot them for any reason, or no reason.

A person in the article actually said that she told her kids that it’s normal that people in the neighborhood shoot all night.
I don't even get how that can be okay, but then I live in the Northeast. I never hear gunshots, not even during hunting season.

There is a guy who lives nearby where I work who every once in a while decides to "test" his guns in his backyard and shoots them, including an AR-15 type. One too many times happened and now he is required to give us a heads up before we go calling the police about guns being fired.

You’re still allowed assault rifles? Thought that might change after the Vegas shooting.

Ha! Silly boy! This is America! Home of mass shootings! :( Actually there is a sort of assault weapons ban going on its just being done state by state, there's nine states now with a full ban and I'm hoping it's a trend that continues.
