Why would Marvel kill Iron Man when his movie is around the corner?

I guess it doesn't say he's dead for sure now that I look at it more, but this is still pretty bizarre. Maybe Cap and Iron Man start to debate the SHRA while they're fighting and they manage to convince the other of each other's positions and they each switch sides and Cap becomes Iron Man and Iron Man becomes Cap!!!!

We learn that Tony stark was never in the iron man suit!! From the beginning Steve Rogers was Iron MAN and Stark was just the public image/persona. Rogers was never frozen after WW2, It turns out that was his clone, part of the super soldier program (I guess they had cloning tech back in the 40's).

I'm guessing Stark and the Real Steve rogers will reveal this to the cloned Rogers at the end of CW.

That's apparently what happens in the book? Yeah, right. If Marvel does this...well, let's just say they'll pay for it with record-breaking sales - and not in a good way.

Doubt it's even remotely true, though.
