Garfield's career is doing just fine and he wasn't miscast. Reynolds seems to be doing more than okay these days tooIt's for the best. I think playing He-Man would have harmed his career in the long run. Look how things went for Andrew Garfield or Ryan Reynolds after being miscast in the wrong blockbuster.

Damn, sucks for Noah.
Considering how it seems this is the first time many are finding this out. It didn’t seem to have been a widely known thing that he’s no longer playing the role until today, as it’s now being reported by many outlets as major news so I’m not sure why you’re getting so needlessly snarky. Regardless, this was still worth posting as this was still news to many. We've known about this for like 20 years.

Oh sure, but the phrasing of your post came across that this was already a known news story, when in reality most of us here & most of the rest of the internet weren’t even aware of this until today. Most news outlets didn’t report Noah was no longer playing the role until today.I think credit should be given where credit is due. And people are not crediting this ComingSoon reporter.

Of course, news outlets should’ve picked it up and reported the story earlier months back when Noah made his initial statements instead of going off further confirmation from the actor’s agent, but obviously not everyone is going to watch every one of these interviews, especially interviews with a C-list actor like Noah. Either way, it’s good this news is now widely known.
Still don’t think this movie will ever happen though.
You really can't find some Hemsworth type for this?
Agreed. I’m just glad this Centineo thing isn’t happening. I’m sure he’s a nice guy and a decent actor, but his casting in this just seemed like a movie studio going, “Hey, who’s a young guy that teenage girls like and we can hire on the cheap? Okay, him. Let’s make him the new... what’s his name? Male-Man? Oh, right. He-Man.”
