Take solace in your short-lived victory, darling. You and both know it won't last.

Let's face it. No console priced at 499,99 ever went the distance much less a 599.99 one.

I think you forgot to add an 'I' in there, Phaser. See it should be:

The Xbox was retired and the Gamecube just sucks in general. If it weren't for a 360 game drought and the PS2's recent price cut, things would be different.Zenien said:Dreamcast was the first console out. Cheap or not, the Xbox and Gamecube certainly aren't maintaining this momentum. We'll see about the PS3, hardcore adopters will be enough to drive it in the first year imo, it's after that where they will face difficulties in entering the mass market (even taking price drops into consideration).

Total percentages: # of votes - % of votes - previous %
Wii: 26204 votes - 85.93% - 84.21%
PS3: 6581 votes - 21.58% - 48.41%
360: 17629 votes - 57.81% - 46.30%
Of course, these numbers may have no analog in real life sales for any console (statisticians we are not) but they do represent an accurate depiction of what Joystiq readers think. Have at 'em.
