My girlfriend said it was 'ok' and then proceeded to tell me the solo films were better.

For me the solo Cap film ties with the Avengers, both films I enjoy immensely.

If I wasn't too busy on cloud nine at the time, lol.

Also , same here Kane

This was my reaction:

Bullets, that is just sad! My 69 year old mother loved the Avengers and said it was the best comic book movie she had ever seen. She even liked it so much she wants to see it again in the theater, and this is something she just doesn't do, even with movies she likes.

My buddy who I saw it with said it was good. I give him slack, since he hasn't seen the solo movies. He's kinda lame like that.

I saw the movie with my dad. He never read the comics and only saw one of the solo movies (Captain America last summer). He didn't know what the hell was going on. Comic book movies are not his thing. However, he was interested in seeing the Disney stock going up the next day...:oldrazz:

Oh God...I basically told my sister and her boyfriend that I wasn't fond of their company. Now this might have been a misunderstanding because I was trying to get a nap and overheard her say, "Where's psycho?" which she said was actually aimed at my mother's dog, but I can't be too sure since my sister has been known to attribute personal insults in that manner when she has been caught saying them about someone in the room. Anyways, I told her and the boyfriend I just don't like they're company because I just don't feel like hiding behind false niceness with people I just can't tolerate. You can criticize me if you'd like, but I feel better just being honest.

My father is a huge Iron Man fanboy, and when Iron Man flew in and broke up the Cap and Loki fight, he stood up and clapped loudly in the theater with a huge grin on his face.

In other news, there was a baby bird in my background. Cute little robin, chirping for its mother to help it. To come and save it. Begging for safety and for an end to the loneliness and the cold. Then the dog ran up and devoured it as its mom watched on. What a sweet poochy. I love my doggie.

That's awful, lol... :p

I didn't cry, but my cheeks hurt from my perma-grin throughout the entire movie.

That's incredible. I can only imagine what films will be like when I'm that age but hopefully the comic genre won't fade.

Actually, I fully believe that.

Man...Avengers #1 is AWFUL. The comic....not the movie.

My backhand sucks. I swing too hard and the ball up going flying. lol

Jesus! How many clothes do you have? I think I have enough for maybe 2 loads, and 3 loads if you're talking about sheets and blankets.

I'm doing laundry for 4 people. and i did some sheets/linens today too. and my brother and father both work in construction and masonry/rigging respectively so i don't wash their clothes with the regular ones. people have been slacking and apparently i'm the only one who knows how to use the washer and dryer it seems

i also cleaned out the laundry room, washed the walls, etc. i got stuff done today

ive done 8 loads of laundry today

Believe it or not but I've seen people with the equivalent of 18 loads of laundry come into my place of employment and use the largest washers we have which process 75 pounds worth of clothes.

So spent Wednesday and Thursday of this week with Ron Howard, Anthony Dod Mantle and Thursday even Warrick Davis!

Awesome.

I cried the whole way through both times :')

I cried a lot too. I cryed at the obvious sad part, but then by the end I was just crying through the final battle and the news clips and stuff... It's hard to explain why. I think I was just crying because it was exactly how superheroes should be seen, and it choked me up because I was so happy we finally got that.

I also cried when Joss Whedon's name came up as 'Directed by' and 'Screenplay by'. I just got this overwhelming surge of pride :)
