Very slick, and an extremely good interpretation of the film's look put into illustration form. If Marvel ever wanted to give the Spider-Man comics a more realistic, Daredevil styled artistic approach, I think this is defenitely the way to go with Venom.

Possibly one of my favorite Venom pics.

wow! one of my faves this month, for sure!

i love the final on this... The sand effect and the addition of venom and the goblin, and the shading! everything looks great!

my fave part is flint as a whole... his body, head, coloring, and now with this shading (especially on the shirt)... it looks great!

ps: the goblin against the moon, is a great layout choice! love it all!

your spidey looks pretty darn good and I like the idea of web-slinging with villains in the background...

my only question is im not sure who is depicted in green because of spidey's position.

if you have a thread of your stuff, you should post the background, without spidey, if possible cause I'd love to see it not obscured.

Thank you Mattchew. I did manage to pull it together. I usually don't work piecmeal but it seemd to work and I managed to get a decent composition going for this one.

Wow, this is awesome. It almost looks like a photorealistic version of the black Spider-Man. I'm really diggin' the backround color and the simplicity of the pic. Very nice.

This is awesome. VERY neat and clean looking for a pastel piece. I couldn't do it that clean...it would turn out very messy looking, which is not bad sometimes. My fave so far!

is this referencing a shot from SM2? haven't seen it in a long time, but i feel like there's a pose like this when he's all torn up...

regardless, its a freaking great pic! the webbing on the suit looks great, and I just always love when the suits get a bit messed up. great face too!

Thanks!!! now that I think of it there probably is a similar pose in one of the movies....but when I was drawing I wasnt thinking of it. I actually was going to have both of his legs under him but changed it.
