MCU going forward

From an MCU point of view, I think I'd rather have a variation of the Sinister Six (or Seven?) initiated by Doc Oc that starts with Spider-Man and eventually requires the assistance of the Avengers.

Could be good. Just hope Sony doesn't ruin that possibility with their solo villain film idea.
