Marvel Movie art books this one most definitely keeps up the great consistency. Marvel Studios takes readers behind the scenes of one of the most eagerly anticipated films of all time in THE ART OF THE AVENGERS.

This keepsake volume is an experiential journey through the entire film from beginning to end – featuring stunning concept art; full-color photographs from the set, as well as the finished film; excerpts from the script; and exclusive interviews with the cast and crew, including writer/director Joss Whedon, producer Kevin Feige and, of course, the Avengers themselves.

From costume and production design to visual effects and creature creation, THE ART OF THE AVENGERS is a lavish showcase of all the artistry and creativity that brings the Marvel Cinematic Universe to life onscreen. Avengers Assemble!
The book's description is pretty much accurate, guys. It has all the awesomeness that makes this movie so great and spectacular. From MCU timeline (yes, finally) to storyboards, fascinating designs and more. This is a must for every Marvel fan, heck, for everyone who loved this movie and its iconic characters!

Looks like an awesome book!

They were definitely looking at ulty Thor going by that, funny how that modernised design shape sticks around. All credit to Bryan Hitch. I like how it so easily morphs into Kirby's Thor just by adding a cape, just goes to show that the secret of modernisation is keeping the integrity of the original.

Exactly! That's why I'm proud of guys like Adi Granov & Ryan Meinerding. They perfectly understand what is important and true to the design of the character.

I HAVE TO HAVE THIS.
When will it hit stores?

What I find particularly fascinating about this book is that it offers a big amount of pure and neat stuff, that you want to observe over and over again (like the movie, lol).

I love the 'Art of' books and this one looks like it'll be one of the best of the bunch.

It is certainly as big (in terms of content and concepts) and as awesome as the 1st Art of Iron Man I book. Much more better than IM2, Thor & Cap books.

I really am curious to how Cap would've looked with the ears exposed in his cowl.

This is some great art. I might have to pick this up.

Does this book have character bios/profiles, RIM? I will get it anyway.:)

I wonder if there will be an updated The Art Of MARVEL set with The Avengers included ?

Hey, Sage! Top picture.

Oh, I see the concept renditions. I meant a live photo of an earless cowl Captain America.

Maybe Cap will have variations in his sequel.

I have the two Iron Man books, and they are fantastic. I'll be ordering this, along with the Cap and Thor books this week.

Oha man ..... some of those cap suit variations are freaking awesome. Should've used one of them!

It sounds as if they did some film tests and costume fittings to gauge how the new cowl/suit would be in the movie and Whedon ultimately decided on the covered ear look.
