I agree as well, it would make things easier for non readers I think.
Yep, and I love having things connected like this all over the MCU.

So what? She's mixed or biracial whatever politically correct term is. I laughed because she was making herself look foolish saying that colorism = racism or how she'll never decline a role that should be given to someone darkskin.
Why would Marvel keep the X-Men as its own franchise? They gain nothing following in FOX's footsteps and keeping X-Men contained in its own bubble. They are going to want to have the crossover opportunities that come with putting them into the MCU.
Alex is BLACK!
Ohhh. I thought she was quite bad in Green Lantern. But that was a bad movie so I can't judge.
Zac Efron would be PERFECT as Iceman
I love Sunfire, Sunpyre, & Armor. Psylocke not the only Japanese X-MAN they can use imo
Own world is possible then connect it through a universe hopping transporting them to the Avengers universe, you know Secret Wars twist.... Well that's what I want.
Both of these greatly diminish the character and why people are drawn to him.
It doesn't matter how old he is, more how old he comes across on screen. If RDJ came across as a regular 52 year old he wouldn't be able to pull off Iron man so well. I think Efron would be awesome.I suggested him recently, but I recently found out that he's already thirty. Like if there's young X-boy in the roster, it should be Iceman.
You forgot Revanche.
Sounds convoluted and unnecessary. Just have mutants start becoming public knowledge (they've been there for a long time but we just haven't known of them yet)

Just have mutants start becoming public knowledge (they've been there for a long time but we just haven't known of them yet) and build the X-Men property out of that, and then do the X-Men/Avengers and X-Men/Fantastic Four type crossovers once the MCU version has been established.

Efron was a Disney guy I wonder what MCU role he finally takes.
Of course he's awesome in any role. But in five years from now, he would start showing his age and by that time, we are probably just waiting for X-Men Vol. 2. I would prefer him as Warren though he isn't really tall. He can easily pass a rich businessman.
t:That wouldn't be xciting to see.
Huh? Why? Heimdall still bothers you?
I can't see him as any other X-Men now that he's been suggested for Iceman.t:
Right but it'll be 6 or fewer like Avenger's 1 or GotG 1
"A truly great piece of news!" Lee told Newsarama. "Now characters such as the X-Men and the Fantastic Four can come home to the place where they belong. Its vitally important to have the Marvel characters under one roof. And now, as great as they were before, I cant wait to see the wonders that will unfold!
Yep. This is my dream roster and visual direction for the first film/series:

Agreed.
I don't think all the X-Men need to make cameos in an X-men film.
Beast could appear in an Avengers film. If they had a Champions movie, they could have Angel and Iceman show up alongside Black Widow, Ghost Rider and Hercules.
They need to mix them up a bit this time round now they're in the MCU. If X-Men only ever associate with X-Men, then it's no different to the Fox universe. Make it more like the comics.
Wolverine can debut in a Hulk or Alpha Flight movie. Storm maybe can show up in a Black Panther sequel.
Later on you can put these X-Men who have appeared in different films into one film. By then we'll have gotten to know them separately and in a different way to the standard X-Men film.
I know I keep saying this, but I'm loving all your ideas and commentaries. Chris Colfer's age better positions himself for Iceman, but I think Jonathan Groff would be perfect to depict him as he is now in the comics. There are a lot of similarities between his character in Looking and Iceman. If Iceman is the MCU's first openly gay character, I think it would be a good idea to cast an LGBT actor in the part. It's obviously not required, straight actors can play gay characters well and vice versa, but I think it would be very meaningful for such a landmark move. My personal choice right now is Chris Colfer:
