yea, if AF and NakedShia go against each other next round it will be the epic Battle of No-Shows.

From what I undersand the storm is supposed to miss us by a pretty good margin. May be some residual rain but nobody should be in any kind of danger

This isnt from the storm. It's a stalled front that is pulling in the rain and wind from Juaquin and dumping it on the Carolinas, Virginia, and Georgia and the North East. A state of emergency has been declared in NC, SC, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, and Georgia. Probably other north eastern states as well. Here is a picture of what is going on:

There has already been a landslide at Old Fort near Asheville NC. And Catawba River is higher than its been since Huricane Francis. Frankly I think the Hurricane would have been less destructive.

Reviewing the Neverending Story movies starting with Part III...currently watching Part II and saving Part I for last because it's the best and it's a classic which I grew up with as a kid...Now you're probably wondering why on earth would I waste time watching these movies? well, for one, it's been a while. And two, I liked the story and if there is only one movie that got made that captured the heart, imagination and magic of the story, it was the first movie that came out the year I was born.

Honestly, I wish, lol...with the technology we have now, I think The Neverending Story deserves a reboot. Problem with the other two movies is that they didn't quite capture what the first movie brought and for the sake of continuity - gawd, its obvious that the studio had no plan in making a trilogy...hence the recasts of the main characters that didn't work as well. I mean, if the studio did intend to do a trilogy, they should have kept the same actors to keep the continuity consistent...but I think, with the right script, director, writer, right cast and crew, the idea of rebooting could have potential to be something better.

As much as I would like to see someone attempt to do a reboot, the chance of it ever happening right now are pretty slim. But hey, it was just a thought...and again, it could work. Just have to find the right minds who could bring something different to the table...

ha I just watched the first one a couple weeks ago... I can't even glance at the sequels though :o

yeah I hear ya...the way falcor looked in part III...I wanted to vomit. and gawd, everything about that movie was terribly wrong. Falcor looked nothing like he did in part I and II...

Never could get into those films. Even when I was young I couldn't get past that giant flying dog creature, and the crappy vfx.

the first one is one of my childhood favorites... but that damn wolf was scary... and that horse scene :( can't believe i can't remember the name.

I mean, the Hawks aren't going to win an NBA Finals in the near future, but that's a damn good team there.

The hawks are literally one big man away from being a real powerhouse... its been like that for years really. Always just one missing piece.

Aren't Al Horford and Paul Millsap the big men?

stop. stop it now. stop... just.. stop. ****

goddamn it.

I am surprised Horford has stayed this long to be honest, hasn't played his real position in years lol

You know...watching the movie makes me want to do a fan cast...but I dunno how :(

What'd I do? :funny:

So, you want Horford to go? The guy's a damn good player. Plus, you guys also got Tiago Splitter. Should definitely give more depth at the big man position.

no no no I NEVER want horford to go... I am just surprised he hasn't WANTED to leave.
