just a damn shame

i think the best thing thing to do if you have a blu ray player or ps3 is to get a movie pass and rent as many blu ray movies so you don't have to worry about the full price

So they are trying to force people to buy those 30+ dollar BluRay disks?

Not only do you have to buy a blu ray player, but you also need to buy a HD tv to watch the movies on to see the picture clearness. You're spending up to 600-700 dollars or more depending how much the tv is just for bonus features.

Cause I mean whats the point of going half assed and getting the blu ray player, but using like a 16 inch tv or so.

Well, that's if they want special features with their movies they are.

And then people are like you can go movies for so much on Amazon, yeah, but not everyone uses amazon. I go directly to the stores and buy my movies.

I seen walmart the last few weeks have been selling new releases for 20 bucks on blu ray. But that's only with certain company's.

forgot about that, don't forget to add the HD cable that's another 100, you can't see the hd without it

It's freaking insane and I hate how people who own blu rays go well they are getting lower and lower on prices all the time.

But that's not the thing, why should i trade in something that's perfectly fine?

That's just like buying a completely new car, just cause it has something a newer car has and you can just buy whatever that is separate with buying the new car.

it's insane, i guess the only thing we can do is wait for those scenes and features to come up on youtube

I don't like to download, cause I like to buy the dvds, but if they force me to I will.

If I have to pay 20 bucks, I expect features along with my movie! And if they are not willing to put the features on the regular dvds, then I think they should slash the prices they want for it in half. If I'm only getting half of the stuff, I only want to pay half the price!

You want my money, then you give me the features, all of them or atleast most!

agreed

That's why alot of the times if a movie that comes out and has no features, I just wait a few weeks and then put it pre-used at a video store I go to for like almost 1/3 of the cost. Instead of paying like 20 some dollars, I'll only pay 7.99 preused.

Company's should think this before they screw over their consumers and trying to screw them out of their hard earned cash.

I paid 20 dollars for Transformers 2 and that's almost what I would expect from a dvd in special features. A few featurettes, some interviews behind the scenes, a commentary or 2 and trailers. it's not that much to ask for don't you think?

It's like don't piss in the buyers face and expect them to say thank you. Maybe I have another.

And they prolly wonder why people don't buy dvds as much as they did before.

:wow:Holy ****!:wow:

Why not just watch it once at the theaters?!! This is what we gave up Betamax and VCR's for? :cmad:

After renting it, the DVD pretty much sucks, even with its "special features". I feel jacked from 20th Century Fox for not using the BR features as well.
