Megan Fox Joins Jonah Hex

I think any DC or Marvel film in production should get its own subforum. I mean The Green Hornet has a subforum, and one that isn't exactly hopping with activity either. I can understand, though, if a subforum isn't made for something like The Surrogates.

Megan Fox is aptly named. She sure is a hottie. As an actress she was mediocre in Transformers, but that's the only thing I've seen her in and Michael Bay films aren't the best basis for judging someone's acting capabilities.

I've seen crazy pictures of Megan Fox playing Rock Band at some random house. It must be her family's or something, but she was acting..like a normal person.

I'm hope to GOD that Megan is actually a down to earth girl, despite her looks. Am I wrong? Because I have heard more about Shia than her in the past two-three years.

I heard that she's rather snooty and cold but quite frankly I heard the same thing about Jessica Alba as well until a friend actually met her during a trip to New York last year and said she was very nice and humble in person (he took pictures that I may try and post in some capacity).

In our looks obssesed times I do wonder if it's easier for some to believe that the likes of Fox and Angelina Jolie are horrible people as it would make them feel better about themselves.

It depends. Fox was only eye candy in TF and didn't really show off acting. Maybe she can really act. If she's with Brolin and John M that's gonna be tough.

I have no idea about the character.

But I like the plot. I always thought Hex should do something supernatural.

yeah but it's Hollywood executive's hiring here as you know they think like woody Allen does when he got that wife of his when he was dating her adopted mom . she's young and legal now (cause i was waiting that whole time for that to happen so I won't get labled ped) and i'm old and i'm going a through mid life crisis now. i need this and I want her. that's what runs through their heads. plus allen was leaning onthat with every young woman he co-stared in his movies he was always leaning towards that way. unfortunately.


any way she's perfect for Aspen in fathoms though. both looks and I think she has the acting chops to pull of alot she just needs to show it by being given a chance. but yeah she's too young for Brolin in hex though. damn those guys hiring and their mid life crisis issue's though. but hey holly wood has been doing this since the beginning any way. so it's not like they'll stop now. it's a left over thing form the Victorian day's. which they keep in pratice for some reason. blech Any way good luck to ya megan. I'll watch both those movies to see if their good. hope they are though.

That being said I think it seems a little strange to have oscar winners with a newcommer like Fox that has yet to prove herself (maybe in Jennifers Body?). With Fathom she seems like she was perfectly cast.

Fox get's a bad rap for a reason, they bring it on themselves. Well, Rothman does.

And Catwoman is ancient history at this point, WB have learned by their mistakes. It seems Fox either haven't, or just don't give a toss.

I suppose we should ask what the purpose of the character is. Megan Fox probably can portray the beautiful "innocent" in over her head. This isn't the most complicated role ever.

It's not closeted at all. She freely admittes it every chance she gets. Her favs are Fathom (ironic), Gen 13, Witchblade, and X-Men
