Justice League Members of the first justice league movie

Part of me thinks they'll just use the Big 5, but then I wonder if that's missing an opportunity. If Warner Bumbles is employing a multi-movie plan at long last, the strategy *might* be to use SvB as the introduction to the new Bats/Wondy for the purpose of adding another 3-4 heroes in JL.
I don't want to see too many big characters introduced for the 1st time in one film. At least with BVsS we'll have the 3 biggest guys up and running and even though the film didn't succeed, there will be some awareness of GL & his background. I guess 3 completely new guys would be my max, one of who would have to be Flash but 2 would definitely be fine..and if it's 2 I want Manhunter!

The Flash is "kinda" being introduced in the CW TV series if it gets picked up. I'm doubtful that the TV universe and the MoS-verse will merge BUT the Flash can still build up some brand awareness the same way GL would in the failed movie.

The more the merrier I say.

You don't need entire origin movies. Half the people who saw Avengers never saw Thor or Captain America but had no problem because the Avengers movie itself explains who these people are. Simple as that.

Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and Vision won't have origin films after all, and I'm sure that'll be fine.

Yeah, possibly.

Yeah, many people wouldn't have seen all the solo films prior to seeing Avengers. But the majority at least knew that they existed so I think it would be more acceptable to them for those characters to hit the ground running and they wouldn't consider it a weakness in the film, rather that the development is there if they choose to view it.

SW & QS are exactly the kind of characters I'm talking about and I think you can only have so many of them. If there were 6 characters like this with no intro I think it would be a problem. Future Avengers films I expect to intro 2 or 3 new characters per film and that number you can get away with with no setup.

Superman
Batman
Wonder Woman
The Flash
Green Lantern/John Stewart
Aquaman

Then Martian Manhunter later on in JL2
Or he could even be in JL1 , depends on how many characters they can pull off. At this point, I'm really hoping for the best for this cinematic universe, but I have far more faith in Whedons vision, and that hurts to say, coming from a Dc fan
That's because they've got over the biggest obstacle of succeeding with their 1st superhero team film. If that had failed it would have been game over. Now they have a much bigger margin for error and the world knows forever that a team superhero film can succeed and break records even if there are disappointments to come.

As a DC fan I sometimes find myself trying to hate on Marvel Studios even though deep deep down I really enjoy their movies and I really want them to succeed.

I also noticed that we keep using Avengers as a benchmark and a comparison even though superhero team-ups have already been shown on the full screen via the X-Men franchise, FF, and the Incredibles.

Hopefully DOFP can also show us another way a large scale epic superhero team-up can be pulled off.
No point mate & it seems like you already know that. It's blazingly obvious how good Marvel getting their act together on Avengers and the incredible box office success has been for the concept of team films with Fox suddenly finding their lost faith with X-films & the dead JL project rising from the ashes with Batman Superman well into development. If Avengers had tanked majorly that would probably be it for team superhero films. And the concepts are similar enough that it's likely that most who enjoy one can enjoy the other. And for me Avengers, JL & X-Men are among my favourite overall things in entertainment.

i would love to see all this members eventually... even hawkman

Seems a bit too crowded, considering the people behind this, i think they should keep the number of heroes relativelly limited to 5-7 members.

Nice Zordan! That 1st pic might be something for an all encompassing event in JL 4 or 5. The one of the 5 looks great to start. I think they should be the founder members and introduce one or 2 plot relevant newcomers as part of the story of the 1st film. And then future films can intro a couple of characters so that the roster and subs bench gets bigger & deeper.

callan mulvey and thi other actreses are in movie, but they are new characters created for the movie specifically

Don't forget War Machine.

The bigger the number of members the more chances this movie will have to fail. 4 to 5 members would be more than enough.

Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern.

I'd love for them to put Cyborg as a founding member. Him being like the new kid on the block in the comics was the one thing that kept me reading. Plus its always good to have a premade black hero instead of changing a characters race to meet this hollywood quota of the one black guy

More characters for Zack and Goyer to develop, i think they should have gone with 5.

Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Cyborg are guaranteed as they're already cast in BvS. I'd say Flash is a guaranteed 5th. If they go beyond that, I don't know that they'd go Green Lantern for 6th considering the last movie. Martian Manhunter would work to introduce whatever the world-wide threat is in the movie.

Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, GL of course. I don't know how many would be the ideal number for a 1st film but if the others are introduced for the 1st time in a JL film I wouldn't want many more. Martian Manhunter is the one I really want.

THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please WB/DC!

He's gonna be in AoU ????

Yep.

So we have Cyborg...

Aquaman might be hard as he's under water, consequently may not have enough to do with the surface.

I think there should at least be 7, no less than 7 members. This isn't The Avengers.

Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, and Green Lantern (but which one?) are the most important.

Flash has to be full of jokes. John Stewert was very straight but a little too boring, but I think he and Wally West set the balance. Hawkgirl was boring sometimes, but I liked her.

She was the toughest of the league. I think they must have more than just one woman. I can't stand that they only have one. So I would strongly recommend Hawkgirl.

Problem is, you have too many members in the League that can fly, except for Batman and Flash.

And you add Martian Manhunter...he's powerful, but he flies just like the rest.

You got to have someone who isn't white also. Justice League for the longest time had only white people. So adding in Cyborg was a good choice. You need to add at least one more woman other than Wonder Woman.

This way Wonder Woman could have another companion.

I loved Martian Manhunter. What was interesting, as powerful as he is, was how peaceful and Gandhi-like he was, and not that interested in humanity.

Cyborg can't fly as far as I know, and that's good, because you don't want to have everyone fly.

Problem with the Justice League in general, in comparison with the Avengers, their group is interesting because it is full of different heroes, not all similar, except they only similarities several of them share are super-strength.

In The Avengers, everyone comes from a different background. Most of them do not wear logos on their chest except Captain America, and the "A" on his mask. Each of them have different skills and powers whereas in Justice League, except for Batman, they can all do the same things. Cyborg, however will be able to do different things.

Martian Manhunter may be good because he can read minds for other members. Batman uses weapons. Superman, we know what he does. Only thing is Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and Martian Manhunter all fly like Superman. Martian Manhunter does everything Superman does, not to mention, from another planet.

Green Lantern has a magic ring, so that might help, but he flies as well. Wonder Woman uses her rope...but she can fly too. If they add Hawkgirl, that means they will have another flier.

GL's ring is not based on magic, its a alien hi tech device.

I hope that Aquaman, is not in this.
