Yea, I think it'll get a nice healthy run throughout June. Almost at 500 mil WW, hoe it makes as much money as possible over this month.

Same. It'd be nice for this to get somewhere around $600 million worldwide, enough to cover all of it's costs.

The wife was out for the count this afternoon courtesy a migraine, so I went and caught this to get out of the house. Boy am I glad I did. Such a pleasant surprise, I'd rank it right up there with the first, maybe higher. I knew about the script issues, particular with plot holes regarding time travel, but it seemed like they were either fixed or overstated. I really liked the buildup to the 'event' that changed K, and was surprised what it was. I really liked how this movie tied into the first, and really showcased a deeper bond between K and J. I actually was very choked up watching the scene on the Cape Canaviral beach, and hadn't anticipated it.

As far as some of the core franchise elements, I thought they were on display in top form.aliens, gadgets, humor - they were all there, oh so much more than in the second film. The only thing that was out of place for me was the insertion of Agent O. Seemed a little forced, but I very much enjoy Alice Eve, so I didn't mind. I liked Boris as the villain, and Griffin was a solid emotional grounding rod for J's arc. Bill Hader and Will Arnett were both nice surprises as well.

Overall, I'd give this movie somewhere between an 8.5 and a 9. I'm curious if this installment will be analogous to Mission: Impossible III, as far as keeping the franchise alive.

i dont know if it will do enough domestically to get another sequel i think they will reboot it down the road

I really really hated this movie when I saw it 2 weeks ago, I was actually pretty upset when I left the theater. Forgettable, I don't remember anything. Oh well

Just bought the movie off of Vudu. REALLY loving my second time seeing it! Much better than that crappy second movie. Btw, is it just me or does Griffin look a LOT like Quentin Tarantino? I know it's not really him as that character, but come on, you can't deny the resemblance. Maybe Barry Sonnenfeld's a fan of his work, perhaps?:woot:

I LOVED this movie. I must have watched it close to a dozen times by now. Griffin is such an awesome character and the end makes me tear up every time.

It was shocking to find out that the actor who played Griffin was Michael Stuhlbarg aka Arnold Rothstein from Boardwalk Empire.

Yup. Dude is absolutely astounding. Once I realized it at the beginning of this season my jaw was on the floor. Absolutely phenomenal. I REALLY hope he starts to get some recognition and more substantial roles

It's funny how I completely forgot that this movie came out this year. It shows how it didn't resonate with me..

Finally rented it and thought it was fantastic. I might even enjoy it more than the first one, it's a close call.

I couldn't stop laughing at the fact that Agent J had a portrait of Frank the Pug right above his bed. Also his inclusion at Coney Island was kind of neat. I wonder why they didn't just bring him out for the movie.

The director said he wanted the film to not be stale so he left out Frank and Zed for new stuff.

Frank was cute in MIB1, but really annoyed me in the sequel, so I'm glad he got left out. I can safely say that MIB3 is my favorite of the bunch.

I'm still amazed by the sheer amount of plot holes in this film.

I think this may the most plot hole ridden movie of all time.

Almost every time travel film is. This one is so much fun who cares honestly? I loved it, I've watched it probably a dozen times by now. The villain is awesome, the bug in the first one always got on my nerves but it's still a classic. Zarlena or whatever sucked in MIB2 and it just sucked totally as a movie but this had some real depth to it while still being a lot of fun. And Griffin was the **** period.

To some degree, maybe, but there are some plot holes that aren't even related to time travel.

There are many plot holes but the only one that bugged me was how J killed one of the Boris'. If they go back in time shouldn't there be a 2nd J and Boris. That was really the only one that stuck out to me as I was watching the movie. I thought it was a great movie, my biggest complaints are some of the cg is pretty bad and the story was eh. But those are completely overshadowed by the creature, gun and vehicle designs which were top notch. Will Smith as always is very entertaining to watch, Boris was a cool villain, Griffin was awesome and easily the best part is Josh Brolin man alive he is great in the movie. I'd give this an 8/10

Thundercrack hating something, excuse me while I put on my shocked face

I finally saw this on amazon instant video, I just dont know how to react to this film. on one hand it was semi fun with elements that felt fresh and not out dated like part 2 did but then on the other hand it the corny factor really weighed the movie down and hurt it. Alot of the effects looked terrible and TLJ looked like a corpse in a suit walking around and I really hope he doesnt come back for a fourth if there is one. The villian was my favorite though of the three movies. I just havent really had a reaction like this before to a movie where I half hated it but half liked it. Id give it a 2.5/5

Saw it again and realized I'd forgotten much of it.

Jones looked really weird in the opening and closing.
