They follow the king/throne, if someone was to try and find that out on their own it would have been treason.Even so even if they didn't know that he existed they could have at least tried to find out if T'Chaka's brother N'Jobu had any children out there and if they had then I guarantee you Killmonger's life would have been different because then he would have been apprised of his heritage and then he would have grown up in Wakanda instead of in the States where he basically became a villain of circumstances
Saw it again, man I wish he was more involved in the 1st half of the movie.

Yes, he did call him that so he knew maybe through research.WKabi DEFINITELY knew. Killmonger called him uncle James when he killed him right?

W'Kabi only knew [BLACKOUT]once he asked "Who are you?" when Killmonger arrives with the gift. We have to assume he a scene was cut where we actually see them talk and Killmonger gets chained.[/BLACKOUT]Wait who?
WKabi was Daniel Kaluuyas character, right? [BLACKOUT]Pretty sure he didnt die.[/BLACKOUT] Do you mean Zuri?

Oh yeah, the poster probably had them mixed up.Yeah, I know he knew (or suspected) then. But Killmonger [BLACKOUT]never killed WKabi and definitely never called him Uncle James.[/BLACKOUT] Thats what Im confused about.

Zuri[BLACKOUT] was not at the council meeting, but was likely filled in after T'Challa accepted the fight.[/BLACKOUT]

After seeing the film, I think Killmonger is the 3rd or 4th best MCU villain after Ultron*, Loki and possibly Winter Soldier.
*Yes, Ultron is my #1 MCU villain. I watched AoU recently after not seeing it for a while and then I watched Steve Baxi's analysis of the film and came to the conclusion that he's a very, VERY good character.
I don't get all this praise for Killmonger. I thought Michael B Jordan did a bad job which is odd because he's a pretty good actor. I never saw him as a menace, just as a guy who was mad at Wakanda. Also, i don't get his motivation at all. He said 2 billion people around the world who look like them ( i assume black people) were being oppressed. How exactly? And giving them all high tech guns would solve what exactly? It would create major chaos around the globe and there's no guarantee that they wouldn't use it on each other. And then, who's oppressing who? Also why would he give away the thing that makes his nation powerful and rich? Or was he going to sell it? But then he's just another arms dealer like Klaw.
I though Klaw was a way better vilain. He had more personality, more presence and an understandable motivation. Not a great one but understandable.

He's talking about racism and the fact even to this day, black people don't have the same opportunities white people do. Arming those with less with higher tech weapons gives them an advantage to take on the people in power (largely better weapons = military advantage and victory historically speaking). As for the other parts of your point, yeah that would be possible, but again, Killmonger is the VILLAIN. He is not entirely right, nor is he entirely wrong. As for why he is giving those away, Killmonger's biggest beef with Wakanda is they had resources to help people with their resources. If he is selling them, that undercuts his entire point. Wakanda is a powerful and rich nation, but Killmonger is trying to create his own vision of a rich world. It's a flawed view of the world, yes. But that is how he saw the world.
I think you missed the point of the film a little.
Remember his childhood was rooted in what seemed to be gang life. I'm sorry but giving vibranium weapons to people who literally are killing each other already (especially in the United States) seems a bit wacky. Just my two cents.
Once again, I think the point is sort of being missed. Even if it ends up creating complete chaos, it still makes coming in to conquer easier.
