Overcomplicated does not equal more advanced...maybe more convoluted.

There are ways to update designs from the 80s without making them look overcomplicated.

i think spielberg is different. men in black and poltergeist.
i think having spielberg as a producer is a very good thing.

Executive Producers usually just help finance the film, and collect a large portion of the profits for doing so. With a name like Speilburg attached to this i'm sure he has pull in certain areas, because of who he is, but other than that, Ex.producers are not typically very hands on with the film itself....

I agree too, This movie looks like its going to f***'in rock!! I think he seems like a cool guy too. I believe all the things he said about designs and all. I really like what he said about the designers at ILM, about "having thousands of TF pics all over", seems like they are devoted to making that s**t look spot on. I could be wrong, but from what I've seen so far, i seriously doubt I will be.

You should watch it. He says he knows people hate him, but his films make bazillions of dollars so he doesn't give a poopies. And he explains his cutting style. And he mocks the blocks again. He also explains how he got a "cholo" to paint the "stripes" on Prime. Then he says he did it cause he likes the ribs.
