Apocalypse Michael Fassbender is Magneto!

So in this, MRS Maximoff (Quiksilver's mother) takes the role of Magda in comics
Or Maybe the second wife in Poland is Magda

Ania, not Lorna.
People would hate if Lorna was killed so fast.

Man, if the daughter's name is Lorna, people are gonna freak out.

It's not Lorna. And I think Lorna should be introduced into this franchise at some point. It would have been better to see her in a film or two and then have her leaving with Havok, but if rumours of Havok's death are true, that's not going to happen.

They could give Lorna all the 'non-metal' powers that Magneto never seems to use in the movies (he is limited mostly to ferromagnetism), such as creating forcefields (by polarising oxygen in the air into a deflective barrier). Her power to polarise non-metallic objects could be the reason for her name.

I hope she won't be a polarizing character if ever she appears in a X-Men movie... anyway I think a movie appearance is way overdue especially when Havok/Banshee already appeared in movie #5 and we are now in movie #10 next year.

This post is only for the Cherik shippers; everyone else, please ignore it.

Here's a facial comparison between James McAvoy and Carolina Bartczak, the actress who plays Magda ( http://sexypizzaorgtfo.tumblr.com/post/144132857496/temple-secrets-captain-magnet-so-this-is ), and you'll notice that they're quite similar. In Bartczak's interview ( http://www.gettyimages.ca/detail/vi...-jennifer-lawrence-and-news-footage/530556062 ), she even directly compares Magda with Xavier.

"She meets Erik after he has become this globally wanted criminal, and even on their first night, he tells her who he is. She sees something beautiful in him, something peaceful, something like Charles also sees in him, that he can be a good man and live a normal life. They actually fall in love and start a family."

If you take into account the homoerotic subtext of XMFC (i.e. Charles and Erik are foster dads who "adopt" mutant teenagers, but they end up being "divorced"), plus the scenes of Xavier learning everything about Lehnsherr on the first night they meet and later being able to detect serenity and goodness within him, they add further credence that Magda is essentially a gender-flip of Charles. Erik is therefore in love with a woman who (subconsciously, at least) reminds him of Charles.

A mutant who wants dominate mankind and hates humans, falls in love with 2 humans women in his life

And he spends much of his young adult life trying to kill a mutant because that mutant killed his human mother. Oh, irony...

Shaw likely brain washed magneto at a very young age with his believes which probably made him into the person he is, its like magneto thought a long time he was the only mutant and that he was a creation of shaw, Frankenstein's monster and he probably was right

and then it sounds like with apocalypse he met someone and settled down and settled into a new life... then [BLACKOUT]he saves someone at the steel mill revealing he is a mutant and his co workers grab their pitch forks and destroy his life[/BLACKOUT]

Anyone think the should utilize Magneto in other parts of the X-universe to freshen up his character?

I could imagine Magneto in Deadpool 2 or New Mutants. He and Quicksilver governing over a mutant haven in the Savage Land or Asteroid M?

Could be a good idea. I don't know about Deadpool 2, but him mentoring someone else could be nice. But I'm biased towards Michael - I think he's the best cast superhero character since RDJ/Heath. But I do want to kinda limit his appearances unless we can think of a real fresh role for him (which I suppose in Apoc was him being a family man, an idea he seem really invested in that makes me really bummed about the film's overall reception). Fassbender enjoys the X-Men, and he said he'd return as long as the scripts are good, so it's definitely up to the creators to figure out a way to utilize him better.

IMO, whatever good idea they have for Magneto, they should just give it to someone else.
