Horror Michael Sarnoski’s “A Quiet Place” Spinoff

It helps that the same trailer played in front of every movie this year. :o

I caught a matinee earlier. While it's not as good as A Quiet Place I found myself liking it better than Part II. Lupita was excellent in this, as was Joseph Quinn and that damned cat that stole my heart.

Joesph Quinn is definitely going places after this, and I can't wait to see what he does next from playing a villain in Gladiator II to Johnny Storm in F4 because I can definitely tell he has a lot of range.

Him and Lupita really carried this movie, and I was surprised at how lowkey and subtle certain scenes felt which was honestly refreshing considering I thought this would be a completely different movie.

I was expecting this to be more of a dumb action flick based on the trailers but thankfully Sarnoski still makes it feel just personal and heartfelt as the previous films while also maintaining that sense of isolation.

The cat was great too and man that ending got me.

7.5/10

Watching the first 2 now as I plan on seeing this tomorrow.

The first film had me on the edge of my seat when I saw it in theaters. The second was exciting. I hope this lives up to those 2 experiences.

Actually preferred this one over the first two.

I would agree it doesn't do anything new with the concept, but I like these little character driven movies. That's more important for me. 1 is still the best, but liked this more than 2. But I like all these movies a lot

They really can't b*** about "theaters are dying" when they pull this sh**.
I couldn't agree MORE. Plus we get the morons who want to compare Star Wars 4 BO #s to some movie that opened 30-40 years later. To those people....get over it. It's a different time. Just go to see the goddamn movie in the theater so we actually have them in the future.

Well, I very much enjoyed this film. Even though we are familiar with the creatures it was still able to make them terrifying throughout the film.

I think you're stuck in a time loop......or maybe I am??? ;)

VERY good movie which managed to keep the jumps and tension of previous movies but also along with them tells a very human story. Great acting from the leads and some truly touching moments topped off at the end.

I like the way they're drip feeding us with the monsters giving us something new each movie, but not too much info at the same time to keep them scary. 8.5/10

Of course he would love it, it's basically Death Stranding but with a cat instead of a baby.
