Microsoft E3 2009

Microsof Offering 360 Games On Demand Starting August

Microsoft had more news than they could fit in their press briefing, announcing an on-demand download gaming service during a post-briefing lunch. Microsoft points not required

Xbox Live's Marc Whitten announced that, starting in August, Xbox 360 owners will be able to download full Xbox 360 games. Titles shown in a dashboard mock-up included Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect and Civilization IV.

New games will be offered each week.

Microsoft points will not be required, as the service will support credit card purchases.

Whitten declined to say how closely the games will be released to regular retail releases. Prices were not announced.

Kudos to G4 for their coverage so far as well.

She's only gotten hotter over the years.

Between her and Olivia Munn....damn....that's where I'd like to be.

I've only seen like two episodes of AOTS with Munn, but I simply cannot stand her, so I'm very glad she's not there

None of those games were actually unexpected, but they did look good...great even.
Crackdown 2.....CRACKDOWN 2....i was expecting that since they released the theme, but it looked superb.
Alan Wake and Splinter Cell were simply amazing.
WM2 was kickass.
ODST...i was expecting more, but, then again, they didn´t shown much.
Halo:Reach...i haven´t read Fall of the Reach, but, from the reviews, it´s great, so, if that game is based on that, it can very well be kick ass.
The Epic part, i was thinking it would be the Survival Horror one, that rumors say will be a PS3 exclusive....but it does look cool nontheless.
Kojima...i don´t care much for Kojima, but it will give a heart-attack to many PS3 fans out there.
Teardrop....hey Teardrop...guess the finger i´m showing? :p
I´m joking, but i said it, so, next time, expect the unexpected.
Joy Ride.....was.....err....it can be fun, it gives some use to the avatars, and it´s free, and everyone loves freebies.
It fact, one of the big things about the presser was that Microsoft is starting to give freebies, like Joy Ride and the radio.
Facebook and Twitter.......i don´t care at all, but there are many that do, so, i can understand why they did it.

Loved the motion control, hated the name....Christmas (Natal, in portuguese).
All of Kuda´s presentation, i couldn´t see it, my net failed me right after the started showing the first demo and only returned with Molyneux on stage.
But it shows a lot of potential with the face and voice recognition, and the Molyneux preesentation looked amazing.
Geoff Keighley, in one GT TV asked Molyneux if he was going to show "that project about AI"....guess it was.
Oh yeah, this is just the begining....Milo will rule the world, Skynet is coming.

Xbox 360, the pedophile´s best friend.

I said before that I wouldn't be that surprised to see Kojima at the conference with a new title, just that I would be surprised if it were an exclusive deal. Apparently, from what we're seeing and hearing now, it is (Unless we see an announcement otherwise soon).

So, yeah, I guess you earned that glout

Morgan Webb perplexes me. I mean she has broad shoulders and a small head and that hair cut doesn't help. I think I saw an older pic of her from an earlier E3 with red hair styled differently and she looked pretty good. I use to joke that they glammed her up to compete with Olivia and Layla.

I don't care if Olivia doesn't know tech or play video games. She actually makes me laugh (her G4 skits as well as her videos on her website) and seeing as I don't find many female comedians funny that earns her bonus points with me.

Webb needs hair, makeup and wardrobe help.

Olivia is hot, but I can't stand fakeness. I mean, look at her wearing those glasses, is that supposed to give her geek cred or something?

I think I remember reading she wears contacts so one would assume she also has eyeglasses.

Gotta say, Splinter Cell ConViction, Metal Gear Solid Rising, Left 4 Dead 2 are all huge hits out of the ballpark that are on my radar from now on.

Do you honestly think that Metal Gear Solid: Rising is an Xbox 360 exclusive?

Splinter Cell really, really impressed me. I so badly want to say that this new Metal Gear is highest on my list, but i dont know if i can. Splinter Cell: Conviction looks absolutely fantastic. Every character can use a little Jack Bauer in em.
