Microsoft 2014 E3 Press Conference

Xbox at e3 (@XBoxatE3 on twitter) retweeted this image. It's an office twitter account btw.

My body is ready.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Re-tweeting doesn't mean anything official yet, but who knows. Just a few more days. Can't wait to hear something soon!

Wish they would announce a MLB game but from what I read I suppose any MLB game on Xbox One pretty much will not happen.. ?

You're nuts. Seriously.. Nuts. It was a FANTASTIC press conference. If none of those games looked good to you.. You must hate gaming.

Woah, that conference was phenomenal. They freaking redeemed themselves this year. PS4 on the other hand, their conference was lackluster. What they showed that WERE exclusives (an not remastered editions) wasn't appealing to me at all. Little Big Planet is too juvenile for my taste, never cared for Uncharted. Only game from that conference I'm interested in is No Man's Sky, and it might come out for XBone also haha.

Gotta admit, the only thing that seemed to interest me was the game from Platnum. Also, I have my eye on Phantom Dust. Microsoft acknowledging Conker exist gives me a little bit of hope.

Scalebound looked awesome! I had no interest in Phantom Dust personally. Evolve looked wicked, as did those two indie games they showed (especially Ori and the Blind Forest).

Sunset Overdrive as usual looked amazing too and I'm a sucker for Halo.

I'm a sucker for arena fighters not enough of them out there.

After looking at the updated release dates list for 2014, I'm looking at 9 more purchases starting in September. Gonna be a great fall-winter.

For me, it's gonna be Forza Horizons, Halo and then COD.

And then hopefully Smash will be out after COD. That'll be plenty of games for me.

I'm looking at:

Forza
Dragon Age
Alien Isolation
The Evil Within
Evolve
Sunset Overdrive
GTA5
Halo collection
The Crew

I'd give Battlefield Hardline a go too if it gets exceptional reviews (9+) and might pass on Alien if it doesn't review well (< 8)

I liked Sony's show.. They seem to be more about exclusive content tho. Destiny has SO much PS4 only stuff that it might as well be an exclusive for them.. Batman gets exclusive stuff.. And this is the stuff that tends to stay exclusive to them. At least for a loooong time.

They both had excellent shows and made me glad I own both systems. If I had to chose between getting one or the other after this showing.. It would be pretty hard.

What PS4 exclusive do they have for Destiny? I haven't even really been researching that game. I don't know why, but I'm really not that excited for that game. I may change my mind about it, but right now, it just feels like another Borderlands.

The only Borderlands thing about it is the amount of gun loot you can find. It's more of an MMORPG.. Seems much better than Borderlands to me, Instances, dungeons, etc. Really seems like the first big FPSMMO.

Anyway it gets exclusive levels, planets, ships, aromor, etc. They literally said we have so much exclusive content (long term) that they can't talk about it all today. PS4 owners also get to register for the Alpha of Bungie which starts next week I believe.

I'm not that big into MMORPGs. I love RPGs, and even FPSRPGs like Fallout, but I hate having to be online and talk to people while doing missions and exploring stuff. That's something I like to do on my own. It's why I wasn't interested in the Elder Scrolls Online, but loved playing Skyrim and Elder Scrolls.

I like regular FPS online, though. Of course, that's a completely different kind of game. But I will try out the beta whenever it comes out. Maybe I'll change my mind about it?

It's the MMO aspect that makes me weary of The Crew but being able to cruise around that massive map is too enticing.

Bungie did say you can play the whole game yourself. The option to run into people and help or have them help you is there if you need it. You'll just see other people doing stuff, which is cool IMHO. Walking around you could see a massive fight on the horizon and rather it being AI.. It's actual people. Pretty neat stuff. The MMO part is that it's just going to be a MASSIVE game.. that's also online. The whole always online thing never bothered me (even for the One) because if my systems are on... They're connected to the internet. I can count on one hand when I'm NOT connected to XBL or PSN.

That's never, btw.

Again tho.. MMO mostly just means massive.. I LOVE that games like this and others are becoming more social. You don't HAVE to talk to anyone.. but the fact that other drivers will be real people rather than dumb AI makes me happy.

IGN is going to being in depth with Sunset Overdrive...Like..Now.

Microsoft did an amazing job. The only part I didn't like was Conker being in Project Spark; it wouldn't have been bad if it didn't look like Conker was sawing through the logo to get to a trailer for his own game.

I wasn't overly fond of MS's presser, I mean there were some cool games shown, and I'm gonna get a LOT of em, but they went too far in that direction. I didn't spend 500 bux on an X1 just to play games, the same way I don't spend 600 bux on an iPhone to make phone calls.

If you spent 600 dollars on an iPhone you're a yuppy. :p

MS spent enough time on the apps last year. I spent what I spent to play games.. Everything else is secondary.
