It's an unknown little kid that looks like Rhys Ifans. How is that causing you to really like the cast for this movie They could have used any number of little kids. Yes he looks like Rhys but we don't know if he can act.

Perhaps they are simply establishing the Connors Clan in the first movie in prep for the Lizard being the villain down the line. Just saying it could be.

Didn't Sony's official press release say that Ifans was playing "the villain"?

Sunk to what level, he obviously doesn't know that Curt Connors actually has a kid in the comic books? I'm not against kids, I'm against kids who can't act, and are thrown into the movie because they're the directors kid(s) or for demo-graphic reasons. Usually to kiddy up the film.

He may look exactly like Billy Connors but we don't know if he can act so I am perplexed as to why you would get excited over an unknown little kid. Now if it was someone like Chloe Moretz who is an excellent child actor then I could see the reason for your excitement. Lets just hope the kid can act because I don't want another cringe worthy child actor hamming up the camera and even looking at the camera. You know who you are SM3.

I'm not getting excited for the kid's talent or anything. I trust that they know what they're doing and know who they are casting in the movie. I'm just liking that the kid looks like his SSM-counterpart, which is/was the best Spider-man show evaaaaah.

Okay, they do resemble each other a bit, but not by much as people say. Let us hope that Marc Webb can direct this kid and make him believable on screen, without him looking like a kid who's overly happy, because he's in a Spider-Man film.
