Rude.

But either way, it didnt need to look like this.

No offense meant Primal Slayer, but I didn't really find it to be a rude statement. At least not intentionally. It didn't read or sound rude in my mind.

I dont view it as anything serious lol.

Netflix released a better and longer version of the first powercon clip.

I like the reference they did to Cringer's original transformation. And I do like how the transformations are unique.

Ive watched the first 2-3 episodes and it's decent. It's biggest weaknesses is definitely the bland cgi/designs

I do wish they'd introduce a side effect of sharing the power....means less power for He-Man. The team becomes a little to powered when they all Sailor Moon up.

First four episodes down. Really enjoying it. Kind of surprised it took 4 episodes to set up everything, the 2002 show only did it in 3.

Excellent voice acting. The animation is actually a lot better than I thought it would be. A lot more textures than I saw in the trailers. Some great work on animating cats. The writing is fun, with some of the humor just killing me. But then again, I've been chuckling at Ram Ma'am since the reveal, so that probably isn't surprising.

Design style aside, so far I'm hooked after two episodes. It's a different type of show from Revelation and that's fine. It's got a lot of youthful exuberance. Great voice cast as well. David "Megatron/Clank of Ratchet & Clank" as Cringer.

Keldor/Skeletor is awesome in this show. I like that his dark magic has sort of rendered the flesh off his body.

It's a total topdown reboot of the whole property, but that's fine. It feels fresher this way. It's like a new AU take on MOTU.

Just for example, Ram Man is a girl now and Adam's best friend. Might have a secret crush on him. I don't really mind this. Granted, Ram Man was never a favorite character or anything, but it just makes everything feel a bit different and newer.

Going to give it a watch. Nice to see that everyone who’s watched it on the thread seems to enjoy it.

Really dig the voice cast!

I'm fine with like a four episode starter miniseries. I recall they are supposed to do at least 26 episodes. Let things breathe a little bit.

How does Ben Diskin sound as Keldor/Skeletor? Wasn’t really sure on that casting at first, even though I like him as a voice actor.

Again, only first 4 episodes, but it is a fascinating performance for the essentially pilot movie. There is a transition over those episodes from Keldor to Skeletor that is amazing in how subtle, yet very obvious in how it is playing out. His Skeletor seems fine, but need a full episode with Skeletor for me to truly judge.

I think this might be my favorite version of Cringer ever. It sounds like David Kaye paying homage to Tom Kane.

"I shall flip it, with aplomb no less."

Also best wishes out to Tom Kane and his family right now. Unfortunately, Kane is likely retired from voice acting now after his stroke.

Many people in this series have likely worked with Kane on other shows before. I remember interviewing with both Fred Tatasciore (Randor in this series) and Tom Kane together at Comic-Con when Hulk vs. Wolverine and Wolverine and the X-Men were coming out. Good times.

I’m late to this. So this is completely unrelated to the Kevin Smith one?

Gonna have to catch this sometimes next week. Right now I am on a binge of Sex Education. But I am definitely intrigued.

Man, that’s pretty awesome you got to meet both Tatasciore and Kane! Hulk vs. Wolverine was pretty awesome, IMO. Feel sad about his condition, as he was such a great voice actor, couldn’t even distinguish him from Frank Oz as a kid when watching Tartakovsky’s Clone Wars. :csad:

Anyway, up to episode 4 right now and actually enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would.

Wasn’t sure if I’d like it based on the trailer, mainly because of the designs and the tone, but so far, so good!

As mentioned Cringer is a lot of fun, and Keldor is pretty menacing. Grey Griffin is a lot of fun as Evil-Lyn too.

Wish Yuri’s voice as He-Man was a bit deeper, but that’s just a slight nitpick.
