If my memory serves me correct, I believe KS and BP had discussed in a interview not long after this year's CC in regards to this very topic, on how they plan on dealing with Lois knowing Clark's secret despite the fact that in Canon mythology, she's not technically supposed to know about Clark's secret until he's officially superman.
They had responded by saying something about how they respect the mythology, but in the same time SV is in its own universe and that Fans of the comics may be disappointed with how they plan on ending things, which I gathered to meant that they won't have everything aligned up with the comics in regards to Lois not knowing his secret until he's been officially superman for awhile.
Honestly, Clark is pretty much doing the 'superman' thing already. Just give him the suit, and glasses and the ability to fly and he's technically superman.
I mean the guy:
1. Already works at the DP as a reporter
2. Met and has become the de facto leader of the Justice League
3. He's defeated Zod and sent his entire Kandorian army to 'New Krypton'
4. The Evil Brainiac has been supposedly vanquished forever.
I mean there are a lot of other things that Clark has done that he wasn't supposed to do really until he was officially superman, so a couple of mindwipes wouldn't solve their problem. They know that it would just increase it, and SV would become a bigger taboo in itself than what happened with the whole Henry Olsen thing.
And while our current producers have had their fair share of presenting some WTF moments in SV, at least they gave a better answer than what Miles did at the 2007 comic con, where he just responded by saying that since the stuff with Superman happens after SV, that it wasn't their problem.
