ML Ares wave is out

Couple of people on Fwoosh have found the Ares wave. So far the only state that they've reported as being found in is Pennsylvania. Price is reported as being 10.96, so the price has been raised, though not as bad as at Target. Hopefully they'll spread quickly, though a lot of Wal-Marts don't have pegs for MLs right now.

Also, according to one of the people who has found them, War Machine's helmet is glued unto his head, and the head underneath is just an unpainted brown plastic Tony Stark head.

yeah... i mean its nice when the helmets come off... but i never display mine with them off.. so its not a big deal... plus its ultimate war machine.. who cares?

I might pick some of these up. Depending on how easily I can find them that is. Glad to see WM isn't raising the price to Target's level. Picking some of these up will help me forget about the Rulk wave.

Since the helmet doesn't come off it doesn't matter what the head is, though it just annoys me that they couldn't find a way to sculpt a new head and make the helmet removable. It really doesn't matter in the end for me, since it was already my least wanted figure from this series, but now this just make me want it even less.

EDIT: Just checked ebay, and apparently there's a packaging variant for Spider-Man with him in a different pose.

i actually dont find it that stupid for a marketing point... Doc Samson, Absorbing man, and Wendigo were some of the top wanted for the hulk line, but all they do now is clog the racks. anyone but a hardcore ML buyer wont buy Crossbones or Guardian... there gonna buy Spidey, warmachine, ironman, and the human torch.

I don't even know if I want Ares..............But I damn sure need that Guardian..............which can be found in this American exclusive wave.........

Still haven't found the wave yet, been checking 2 Wal-Marts nightly. Got excited when I saw a bunch of Hasbro boxes with Action Figures labeled on them tonight, but it was all Star Wars, Transformers, and GI Joe stuff.

Right now I'm only planning on keeping Guardian, Crossbones, and the regular Human Torch, and am only getting the other 5 for their BAF pieces.

"Scarlet Spider" - red costume with blue hoodie
and Ben Reilly Spider-man (he was known as spider-man in this costume) and thats the one in the ares wave

they could have easily made scarlet spidey the variant easily
swap his head and throw a hoodie on him,bam
way better variant than hot human torch and really hot human torch
people would have bought both of those,most people are only getting 1 human torch
