This game's coming out July 29!

I'm not usually a sports game person, but the style looks pretty cool and there's a bunch of different game modes, apparently developed from fan feedback from the first game. so you can go anywhere from the basic baseball game mode to a more rpg-like mode, where you can follow a character all the way through his career. They've added an "MLB Life" mode where you can follow the career of an MLB player, doing stuff like handling contract-signing, PR, buying stuff like cars and houses, etc.

And, apparently, you can upload your miis and play with them, which would be pretty hilarious considering some of the miis my friends and I have made...

I'm not much of a sports video game person actually.

If I did buy a baseball game, then it would probably be Super Mario Stadium Baseball, but even my chance of buying that one is slim to none.

I'm the same way (at least, about not being a sports video game person). I think what's different about this game for me is the "MLB Life" thing I've read about. It's a much more RPG/sim-like aspect that really appeals. There's baseball, yeah, but you can play so many game modes that you don't always have to focus on the sports, which I find cool. Suits my attention span (or lack thereof...)
