Maybe I should of put, a kid shouldn't be a goddamned doll...
Whatever, most people shouldn't be aloud to have a kid, as if it ain't already hard enough to fit in.

I remember this mom and dad who proudly showed me the kids birth certificate to prove they'd called it "juggalo wicked ______" , I just think there should be some moderation.

Sure, the other parents are responsible for making a kid with a mohawk seem like a spectacle, but that's just it, a parent should realize this will happen and not throw the kid to the lions like that.

I don't know why you're going on a tangent about this anyway. The kid likes his hair. He wants it that way so the mother said she isn't changing it.

Also, why is msnbc calling it a "spiked" mohawk? I don't see any spikes.

Well, we agree there.
I know a woman who ended up dumping my friend because he didn't want to have kids.
She actually said to him, in a fight, "Well if you won't get me pregnant then I'd better find someone who will."

and later, she admitted to a mutual friend that the main reason that she wants a kid so bad is because it would be so fun to buy it's little clothes and to dress it up.
Though, this child will never have a mohawk, so, it will make a nice, non-distractive dolly.

I guess it depends on the style, but when I see this kid with a mohawk, my first thought is "redneck" instead of "punk".

Kid probably likes it so much because his mom has made a fuss... A lot of what kids do is in negotiating how they think the people around them will react.
Not saying the kid can't actually like something until he is older, but parental influence can count for lots. Like those little westboro church monsters, they seem pretty sure "god hates ***s", but that ain't reliant on what they actually feel, moreso with what they were made to feel.
