The Zeitgeist Movement, the Venus Project, the Freeworld Charter, a New World Society, many Resource Based Economy sites, and many, many others are all trying to make people aware of the unsustainable future in an infinite-growth monetary system.

The Occupy Movements have yet to define the long-term goal, but I think everyone is comprehending the inherent flaws and corruption in the money-based economic models of the past. A recent post from the Freeworld Charter gets to the point, "We can't stand idly by and let an IMAGINARY Money System cause REAL Death and Destruction of the world and its inhabitants. Money is fiction. Time to get real."
