Moon Knight
"Marc Spector, former CIA member and mercenary, will never forget what happened to him years ago. The events that lead to him becoming a masked savior can only be described as mysterious. But now, as he recounts these events inside his troubled alter-egoed mind, he must deal with his ongoing relationship with the love of his life, Marlene Alraune, and the villains that challenge him. Between Jack Russell/Werewolf by Night, a deadly crime-fueled New Yorker named The Slasher, and his former CIA buddy William Cross, Marc Spector is ready for them. He is the Knight of Vengeance. He is the Moon Knight!


Now please be aware that it is only a rough synopsis, because somethings could change before the film is even made. (which won't be for a LOOOONG while)

UPDATE: I haven't completed the treatment yet for "Moon Knight", but I should be done by next weekend...hopefully.

BTW, Jack Russell is the main villain in the film. When Marc Spector finds out from Jean-Paul that the Committee is trying to capture the Werewolf by Night AKA Jack Russell, he joins the Committee and fights the Werewolf, until the sun rises and he turns into Jack Russell again. He then is captured by the Comittee. The Slasher then comes into the picture, as just a small villain. Moon Knight has a bit of trouble finding Slasher, but easily defeats him. Then, Jack Russell escapes from the Committee, and Moon Knight fights him again. This time, Russell escapes before sunrise. The next night, he is found yet again by Spector, but Spector defeats him for the last time. He brings him to the Committee, but then discovers that their plans were to use the Werewolf to kill their own enemies. Moon Knight/Marc Spector sets Russell free after that, disguested by the Committee. They both then take on the Committee, defeating them.

Jack Russell leaves the town after that, and that is the end...or is it? An old friend of Spector's has returned...(William Cross...if you didn't know)


BTW, I don't plan on including any of Russell's family in the film.

Well Balian, I am really hoping to direct this film. (Or should I say films...?......You'll know what I mean soon enough)

Right now I am busy studying up on the character, his origin, allies, villains, etc. and it is all SO good. This is going to be an excellent film...LONG but excellent.

To help you better understand what the film will be like, imagine Batman Begins meets Hellboy.

In short, it will be dark. Very dark. But I think we all like that don't we?


UPDATE: Guys, I have a little casting tidbit here. NO ONE HAS BEEN CAST AS MOON KNIGHT/MARC SPECTOR YET! BUT...I know who I'd like to play the role if he isn't too old by then...Benicio Del Toro.

I know he may not look a LOT like Marc Spector, but if you dye his hair brown, you might not know the difference. Plus, we all know he could play the Moon Knight side of Spector, he's good at dark roles. I just think Benicio is a teriffic actor (one of my faves) and I CANNOT wait to see him take on the role of Lawrence Talbot/The Wolf Man in 2008's The Wolf Man. He will be absolutely fantastic!

Anyways, I just thought I might let you guys know who I've been thinking about for the role. I have another (well, I'm thinking) that I may post tonight, but I'm not sure yet.

Josh Hartnett is an EXTRORDINARILY talented actor, who is mostly overlooked. He is younger than Delt Toro, but both would make terribly good Marc Spector performances. Of course Josh is good at the nice guy performacnes, but he can be dark if he wants to. Hartnett is also one of my favorite actors, and if you haven't seen Lucky # Slevin yet...go BUY/RENT it...NOW! It is SOOOOO good.



Anyways, those are my two choices for Marc Spector/Moon Knight for the moment. I might have more soon, but those are who I could REALLU see as MK. I hope you can too.

Well, the first time I watched it...I was confused. Like WTF?!

I didn't even keep going. I stopped it about 30 mins. or so into it.


Later on in the week, my family put it in and I just started watching it again. And I watched it all that time...and ABSOLUTELY loved it! I was like... at the end...but it was such a good twist.

I wish I could write twists like that...

I figured out the twist about 10-20 minutes, I just felt the director stole ideas and styles from others, particularly Guy Ritchie.

A quick update for you on MK.

I'm currently working on the treatment for the film, and the screenplay will be written in January...well, atleast the first draft.

I'm hoping to make a 120-130 page screenplay. The story I have is no short tale, and if wrote and done correctly, it will go past 2 and 1/2 hours long.

Anyways, remember that this is the thead where you can ask me questions about the film whether it be characters, story, etc. I'll be able to answer them hopefully.

QUICK UPDATE...


I know I keep telling you all that I'm hard at work on the treatment for MK...and I am. I just wanted to let you know that it will most likely be finished by Sunday night.

I have no school tomorrow, so I'll be mostly working on it then. Saturday I will be seeing "The Prestige" (one of my most anticipated films) with my brother, and I'll try to finish the treatment Saturday night.

Sunday, when it's done...I'll have A LOT more to tell you about the entire film. Expect some character information then, and maybe another casting choice...

^Most of these I will try to throw into the film.

If you want to focus heavily on which ones specifically, then that would be the, cresent blades, cresent throwing discs, bolas, throwing darts, and the golden club that's shaped like an ankh. All those weapons were given to Marc as a gift from Khonshu.

But right now in the treatment, Marc only takes the cloak/his MK cape from Khonshu's tomb.

We'll see what happens next...
