It just didn't feel balanced to me. The men over the years got some really awesome and intricate designs. With each game the costumes looked more detailed and complex than the last. Then you had the females, where the mindset was to use as little fabric as possible.

Now they are finally putting some actual effort into the female designs.

IMO, that doesnt look too good and is too busy. I prefer her MK look. Her UMK3 though remains as one of my favorites

some idiots posted story spoilers right in thread titles on MKO so some of the story, actually a lot of the story, is spoiled for me

but i've been really good on fatalities/brutalities, i've only seen a few of those

I was getting my car worked on today and whiel waiting I read I think 12 or 13 issues of the comic. I thought it would offer an explanation for the resurrected characters from 9, but I guess that will be handled in game.

Also was this the first time we saw Scorpion'[BLACKOUT]s face? I didnt think he had one anymore. I thought it was only a skull under there[/BLACKOUT]

aside from the character reveals, I've largely been avoiding spoilers.

in fact, I've been mostly out of the loop when it comes to the MK storyline. started losing interest in the franchise around MK 3.

so, I'm aware of the characters, but not really up to speed on the overall storyline.

Hanzo beat the Specter. He only lets it out when he has to.. Think Ghost Rider. He's basically Johnny Blaze now, which I think is awesome.

I'll have to get good and familiar with at least one character before I even attempt the online MP stuff.

so these 5 vs 5 is online only im assuming? since they didnt put tag in this game I was hoping they would at least have some kind of team mode offline, just like 2 vs 2 or 3 vs 3 or whatever

Re:Spoilers. I've been scoping out some of the alternate costumes and gameplay stuff but am making a point to avoid anything too story-related. I also want to see the majority of the Fatalities for the first time on the TV in my living room.

I'll teach u the ways of ass whoopery. I'm always down to spar and help others get a bit better(once I'm competent with the characters myself that is).

Iv got a good bit of friends who'll be getting this so we should have some pretty awesome KOTH lobbies

Thing is.. I used to be pretty damn good. I played SSFIIT almost competitively at one point (local tournies.. Nothing big. Cash prizes or gift cards) and I mastered UMKIII.. But over the years I just... Stopped. I think competitive FPS games really killed the fun for me.. With all the cheats, camping, quick scoping, etc.. I just stopped caring.

I dont have as much time as I used to anymore either.. But if like to start getting back into fighting games at least.. More so MK as I've always enjoyed their characters more.

I still have no idea who I want to master, I wont know until I play the game, but Cage and Reptile are both up there as they were in my top 5 in MK9

I just wish they'd give Reptile a costume that isnt full lizard for a change, how about having him look human in a costume, then as he gets battle damaged you can see the reptile underneath, or have him with human skin color, but have the texture of lizard skin, that would be cool and something different, im not saying he needs to be full "human ninja" reptile but a mix would be nice, seems with NRS its either one or the other, but never a mix of both
