MK has insufferable fan boys too. People are talking enthusiastically about the cover and potential guest characters here. Over on MortalKombatOnline there have been people threatening to boycott the game over Kratos.

Because competitively he'll be banned in tournaments because he's only available to half the community and they feel that its wasted effort that could have been better spent on character that would be tourney legal. I personally have nothing against Kratos given I wanted to see at least one new face in the roster, but Boon and Co. claim they're aiming to appeal to the hardcore fighting crowd again. Some think adding a guest character that won't be tourney legal complete goes agaist that sentiment. Also quite a few fans are still bitter over the nuetered MK Vs DCU, Guest characters are not something these folks wanna see.

I'd like to see a full KI game before any guest appearances. They need to make KI relevant again before they do any crossovers, but Rare has Kinnect shoved up their asses so I have very low hopes of ever seeing KI again.

I'd like to see a full KI game before any guest appearances. They need to make KI relevant again before they do any crossovers, but Rare has Kinnect shoved up their asses so I have very low hopes of ever seeing KI again.

I think with the resurgence of Street Fighter and hopefully Mortal Kombat and MvC3 we could possibly see a KI get fast tracked.

I'll believe it when I see it. I've been hearing KI rumors since the gamecube. As far MK crossovers go, it's either Street Fighter or its a waste of time, after Street Fighter x Tekken, they really have no other logical place to go. Capcom really needs to stop ignoring the Americans especially considering the Japanese gaming market is becoming highly irrelevant (Seriously Japanese Devs buy a copy of Halo 2 and figure out Matchmaking) SF Vs MK would ****ing print buckets of cash for all parties involved

Capcom really needs to stop ignoring the Americans especially considering the Japanese gaming market is becoming highly irrelevant (Seriously Japanese Devs buy a copy of Halo 2 and figure out Matchmaking) SF Vs MK would ****ing print buckets of cash for all parties involved

I think they will wait to see how the Tekken crossover games do as this will be the first time they will be crossing over with a fighting series with a radically different style than SF. If and when an MK one becomes a reality, it wont be until after the current deal with Namco has run its course

I guess so.
From what I've seen from videos and trailers about the game, it seems the elder Sub-Zero was already killed by Scorpion, so the younger Sub-Zero is in the tournament to honor his fallen brother by fighting Scorpion.

MK vs Street Fighter would be a dream come true for me

since i was like 8 years old, it was a game i have always wanted and still do to this very day (i'm 25 now)
