it was really good for a video game movie imo...the best fight was scorpion vs johnny cage, it was so raw and had the feel of a real streetfight to it.

Unfortunately, that's not saying much.

I don't like the Halo games but I think they could be made into badass sci-fi action movies.

Or a Half Life movie even. But when your protagonist has not ONE word of dialogue, that might turn people off. Unless its a movie based around Barney or Adrian Shepherd, or some made up dude that has to learn to survive.

I would say a Metal Gear movie, but the games are just so beyond awesome I dont see the point. Hell, they're better than most movies anyway.

I personally thought Mprtal Kombat sucked as well. Raiden was a badass in the game and...well...Christopher Lambert in the movie (aka lame).

i like the look he had. today it would be sooooo cgi looking. the way he was done in that movie made him look creepy and unnatural.

couldn't agree more. "soldier of the apocalypse" is my new term for badass. it orginated with Christian Bale.

I saw the movie in theaters when in was released in `95. I was a huge Mortal Kombat fan back in da day! And, I was really surprised by how awesome Cage was in this!

My favorite scene is when he's fighting Goro! He does the split, punches him in his manhood, and runs away.
