Lol @ the people who are still holding out hope for the same actors from a 1995 movie to STILL be raiden or Liu Kang? Really? With all the new talent why wont some people LET GO of those thoughts and hope for new talent to POSSIBLY come in and do it better? Same thing with people actually making a Dir list for a new MK movie. C'mon that has to be considered foolish... K.T. does rebirth over 13 million views before the video was taken down, then he does MK Legacy.. over 50 million views.. NO CHANCE a new director was gonna ride that momentum and take the MK reigns. Let K.T. do this thing.. no one was even talking of MK until rebirth hit last June..

The one and only actor that can and should return, is Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa. This time playing old Shang Tsung.

I am having a hard time coming up with replacements for Christopher Lambert & Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa. Those two were perfect in the first movie

They're probably 300 the release date: March. Put the violent maybe-it'll-do-good-business action movie ahead of the summer. Just get out of the way of the really big movies.

Beginning & middle always get to crowded & it should be either Mid July or the beginning of August would be perfect. Also Amazon has the Mortal Kombat - Legacy Blu-Ray for $13.99. Around the price it should be

Yeah, I think MK should be the last big film of whichever summer it comes out in. If it does come out last, maybe it can find Rise of the Planet of the Apes type success. Which I think would please WB.

Kids will go see it regardless of the rating. Older siblings and family members will take them, dads will automatically take their sons if they play the game, and brats will sneak in. And that is why I say hook it up in early July, R rating or not.

Uh no, the web series was obviously a test for the studio to greenlight another movie if the reception was overall positive and had decent viewing numbers. Why pay for 9 web shows cut together when there sitting there on youtube for free in HD. Just save the $13 you were gonna spend on that bluray and put it towards the new movie and maybe 2-3 songs on itunes.

Also the web series wasnt even that great to begin with, aside from the sub-zero/scorpion and cyrax/sektor episodes the rest were rather mediocre. Im not telling anyone how to spend there hard earned money but have some sense, why pay for something when its all over the net for free and even downloadable in some places. On a side note I would rather see a well thought out 2 hour movie with a good story that I have to PAY for then see a bunch of 6 minute vignettes of side characters.

(over 50 million views) Moreover we are talking fans of MK at that.. but to each his own, I guess. Yes everyone has their favorite episodes but overall for the small budget u have to give it credit for what they put forward.
