BvS MOS 2 and Justice League being filmed simultaneously?

Latino Review isn't doing too well recently when it comes to WB scoops. I think it's true that someone at the studio is feeding them false information just for laughs.

Again, I was pointing out the s**tty lines, while deconstructing the argument thread about IM3. Dialogue is not the only factor to be used in evaluating a film. As for IM3, the cheese is to be expected, unlike the serious DC films.
Just because there is a double standard doesn't mean you can't apply fair objective analysis to the piece of work into itself. A rare thing in modern criticism but we should try our best.

Secondly,
I'm aware that you understand that dialogue is not the only factor used in evaluating film. What I'm responding to specifically is this:
The quips are better than the cringe inducing dialogue in MoS. Goyer can't write dialogue if it meant the firing squad ("He's hot!", "Welcome to the planet.", "A good death is its own reward.")

...Thus, a good film is compromised by the cheesy dialogue. Compared to Man of Steel, however, the dialogue in BB sounds like it was written by Tom Stoppard.

You seemingly imply the man can't write based on 2 or 3 lines.
To which I argue, perhaps we should judge his writing by more than...2 or 3 lines. Perhaps the hundreds of pages of other dialogue as well. Haven't you noticed that it's always 2 or 3 lines people reference when it comes to this issue? Imagine if people actually referenced 5 pages of "horrible" dialogue....that would be something.

Shaw absorbs anything he is hit with and converts it to strength.

Bishop absorbs energy and can fire it back.

So bishop fires it back. Whereas Kevin Bacon was simply turning it into strength(though I'm sure Darwin would argue something else).

But the absorbing is pretty much the same. Kinetic and heat and such. I'm only curious cause it made Shaw invincible and I'm thinking perhaps the darker shade will finally get's it's moment in the Xworld.

@Marvin:

I was providing a sampling of the worst dialogue that came to mind; if I had a copy of the screenplay, I would copy every line, from meh to horrid to make my point. The problem is the frequency of less than satisfactory dialogue in the film; but, I am not going to list every line, because I have better things to do with my time than read the scripts of a writer who I like as an ideas man, not a dialogue writer. Again: you are entitled to view Goyer as an excellent writer---the studio does, because he's handling pretty much every live action film they have planned, from Sandman to Justice League. I simply do not like his dialogue; others do, considering how often memes use his lines or they are referenced in conversation. Again, he might well be the next Robert Towne, but, I do not like his dialogue.

I just find it odd that you go about/around arguing this point with two or three references. You say if you had the script you'd probably have a long list. Well that's good to hear, it means you aren't basing you decision on 2 or 3 lines(the same lines I'm sure the memes reference).

I do however think you should one day take the time to make this long drawn out list. It might shed some light on a few things. For example, if we take every bit of dialogue uttered by Jon kent, would we come to the conclusion that Goyer simply can't write and that he's perhaps the worst writer of dialogue out...I have serious doubts. But the memes will roll on.

Lastly, I don't think the man is excellent, I just have issues with points I have issues with.

^^^^ We already knew it :D
I guess some people just don't get it.

Again, I am trying to convert anybody to my viewpoint. I am in the minority on this forum, and that is fine. Nothing is going to change my argument; even if Goyer wins Best Script or has one his lines added to the AFI Top 100, I will still march to the same tune.Again, this is a matter of subjectivity, and I am happy to retire the argument on that note.

You have a sufficient track record of good posts to prove that you are not a troll. But your tone came off as deliberately provocative even if that was not the intention.

I did not intend to be inflammatory as I did. It is a topic of which I am passionate, and my Dionysian side held full sway, when I should have been more Apollonian in my writing.

Whedon has written great material. I consider the avengers to be a blight on a strong record and thus I forgive its shortcomings.

Again, I am not a Whedon worshipper: he gave us Waterworld and Alien Resurrection. That's all that needs to be said on the topic of his bad works.

I considered Avengers good writting. In moments they exagerate with jokes and it has its flaws but not for that I'm going to judge the entire movie.....

For me, Faora was a great character because I enjoyed her presence in the story and yes, her dialogue and her interactions with hardy.

People who criticize Faora for not having an arc are ignorant of the story. Kryptonians raised in genesis chambers are not supposed to have arcs, that is the bloody point.
Many people's claim are for that exact reason. They didn't catch things and put it automatically as "flaw".
She didn't need to have a backstory, the development of krypton was the enough for this movie. I know because it was a Superman movie. plenty of characters were needed to be developed. they developed the important ones with the right dose of development. Faora's door is not closed thought. They can explore more about her in a future movie.

She'll be back. And no doubt in the JLA movie too.
