Most Intolerant People I have Ever Met!!!!!

Yeah, that's what I thought when I read it, too. But the girl still had no business eavesdropping on a private conversation and behaving like such an idiot, regardless of whether or not you sounded homophobic.

Evesdropping? In a nightclub? I doubt he was whispering quietly into his friends ear....he probably had to shout "EWWWWW....GROSS!!!!! THOSE GUYS ARE KISSING!!!!!!!"

next time an ugly chick tells you something.
simply remind her that she doesan' matter o the world.
or hit her

FThats not intolerance. Thats a Intolerancephobe with OCD. Same as the guys who think the Colors "Black" AND "WHITE" ARE ALWAYS RACSILLY CHARGE.

I don't do a ton of PDA, especially in busy and populated settings, because I'm afraid of any backlash for being gay.. but.. it's a bar. Lol. You can't be TOO shocked. :P

As far as the ugly girl? It was a comment between friends.. who gives a ****? She needed to mind her own damn business, lol.

If I was you I would of told the stupid ***** to keep her north shut. What the **** has it got to do with her? As previously mentioned, she's just a self righteous attention seeker.

I knew a guy once who said that America really made a bad choice when they let women, gay people, and blacks vote. I think his name was Pete.

I think the name was Mistress Gluon.

It's true, as a non-citizen, I think your country made it's worst turn allowing my gender, blacks, and people I might have common interests with, the right to vote. Making my opinion null and void by practice and political. :o

What do some of the gay hypesters have to say about this incident?

I can see how his comment could be interpreted as being specifically about two men kissing instead of a general distaste for PDA, but she had no business continuing to yell at you, and drag other people into, telling other gay men that you were making a scene, and telling your friend that he wouldn't hang out with you if he had any pride.

I can see where she took you for a homophobe, but then she went way overboard. My $.02.

I'd have told the ugly girl to go f**k herself & mind her own buisness, I know the type very well.. loud, abrasive & generally try to punk you out first chance they get. They only understand abuse so you have to give as good as you get..

Theres nothing wrong with being homophobic to a degree anyway..

Why?

Well is there anything wrong with being an arachnophobe...

I didn't say there was anything wrong with it, I was just curious.

Though, spiders and humans are extremely different. =/

Did he really just compare Homophobia to Arachnophobia?

... really?

Well, if it's an irrational fear based thing, then it's understandable, as it'd be irrational, and something you have no control over. But I think he meant to imply there's really nothing wrong with having an irrational fear.

That sucks to hear.

Looking at a few other posts in regards to getting labeled a homophobe for stupid reasons, all I can say is welcome to the liberal/PC brainwashed society we've brought upon ourselves.

I swear most people are cowards who can't think for themselves and jump on the bandwagon almost every time just to fit because they're afraid of looking/sounding ignorant to 'the majority'.

This right here.

At one of my old jobs, a bunch of people were getting together, making plans to all go out to a gay club (they were not gay).

They invited me to come.

I declined, because I'm -not- gay, and I don't want to be around that type of open homosexuality.

They called me a "homophobe".

I was like "?!"

How does that make me a homophobe? I'm -not- gay, and I don't want to go to a club where a bunch of guys are going to be kissing on each other, or a bunch of girls are going to be kissing on each other, and I don't want a bunch of gay guys hitting on me, when I am not interested.

I'd be a homophobe if I set out to burn the club down while everyone was there getting down.

It's fear of a group of people, it's more comparable to racism than a phobia of something inhuman or what most people associate phobias to be.

Many phobias cross realm into the human world. Like clowns, touching, crowds, loneliness, that sort.

As I said, theres nothing wrong with having a homophobia to a degree, if it resulted in people being bullied/unfairly discriminated against it would be a problem..

But rarely do those types of phobias garner the hate response that homophobia does.

Yes, thats why I said "to a degree".. if it resulted in hate it would be a problem

I agree. It really depends on if he's actually afraid of homosexuals, or just dislikes them. As if it were a phobia as defined as an irrational fear, then it's somewhat understandable. If it's him just not liking them, then it's just prejudice.
