Most painful experience you've had.

I came close to fainting from dehydration once a couple years back. I live in Texas, where it's basically a desert in the summer because of how hot and humid it is. My vision was blurry and I could barely stand. Not to mention there was no water near me. :( And ugh,it got harder to breathe as time went by. It felt like something was blocking my throat and I couldn't inhale. Damn it sucked.:down

That happened to me once. It was more frightening than painful to me, though, since nobody really believed I was in any danger.

I believe I'm in the most pain when I get the stomach flu (about once a year now). It hurts so bad, you just feel like you just want to turn over and die. :( :down

Let's see...

*In highschool I've twisted my ankle on more than one occasion, cracked ribs on my rightside, chipped tooth (got fixed) dislocated thomb and pointer finger, cracked bridge of eyesocket all playing football in highschool.

*Got in to a fight with my older brother he clocked me so hard in the mouth he split my lip, still got the scar.

*In 98' was jumped by two cats I had issues with at house party and was stabbed in the leg and forearm (Forearm at least three stabs.)

*Kicked in the head on two different occasions playing soccer for my unit's team.

*Gazed by bullet (left upper side abomen just missed shoulderblade.)

*Hit by schrapnel in back with 15 tiny and 1 nice chunk of metal sprayed my back. Over 6 months of physical therapy to get to 100%.

Yeah. It was to numb my eye for a surgery...which I was awake during!

Damn, awake?

I'd be like "Doc put my ass to sleep!"

Let's see...

Was running after a friend of mine once, and there was a shovel proped up in front of her, and she turned and tripped me by accident, and I landed chin first on the shovel, and split my chin open. Had to get stitches.

Broke two fingers playing football a while back, and they were all bent. It was pretty nasty.

Earlier this year, I broke one of the same fingers again. Got it caught in a table at school and it snapped back.

Got hit in the head really hard with a baseball bat and was bleeding.

Got food poisoning once, and that hurts like a *****.

When I was in fourth grade and I fell down the steps and busted my nose several times.

Last one I can think of is when a glass bottle of vodka broke and sliced my wrist.

I think you may be my spiritual twin.

Mine would probably be one of the many injuries I have sustained while playing Rugby

Yep, awake. It was weird...he was rubbing some wand thing on my eye to freeze my retina down.

pyysically I would have to say when I fell from about 15 feet and landed on my head severly facturing my skull.

Mentally was the day when I went to visit my mom only to find that she died on her living room floor

i'm so sorry, IM. that must have been a terrible shock.

Haha, maybe. I never been shot at though man. That's nuts. Aren't you over in Iraq or somethin' though?

I don't really think Ive experienced extreme pain before.....I guess Im just too cautious or something....

The worst things that have happened to me that I don't remember to well are all mouth injuries that happened to me when I was younger
-did the swing thing where you swing really high and jump off.......faceplanted into the ground :(
-chain from a swing on a playground smacked my mouth and chipped a tooth
-steel turnbuckle wacked me in the mouth at a theme park when I was younger
-did a flip on the edge of a pool and didn't jump far enough, wacked my forehead on the deck
-I stabbed myself with a pen........but that didn't really hurt that bad....it was just weird looking at my hand with an object stuck in it

those are the things that I think would be really painful that happened to me just from remembering what happened....

The current most painful thing thats happened frequently with me is back spasms....jeebus ow :(

We're kindred souls, you and I:(

My most painful experience(mentally,so far) is when I was admitted.

Seeing the doctors trying to take blood out of my six month old son. They couldn't "find" the vein. Finally my wife and I had to say STOP! He had already been poked a few times. :( I'd rather go through ANY physical pain myself if it meant my son wouldn't have to go through it. I'm sure other parents feel the same way.

Meatbag Mountain would have been a much better name for that movie

I have my share of emotional pain over the years (my cousin's suicide being primary of them), but to not depress people I'll just list all the stupid painful things I've done to myself.

-been bitten/stung/scratched/attacked by lots of animals. Most notably, an ostrich (bit my fingers while taking a cracker from me), an anole (little bastard hung off of my finger for five minutes) and a hermit crab the size of a softball (I thought he was dead, and found out he was alive the hard way). Oh, and yesterday, a pug kicked me in the balls.

-was electrocuted while changing a light bulb (I still don't know how) and was thrown off the ladder.

-numerous occurances of head trauma.

-accidently stabbed myself in the thigh with the sharp end of a compass (the thing you draw circles with, not the one you use to find North).

-chipped both of my adult front teeth while skateboarding, their predecessors were also violently removed (one while running up the stairs at age 4, and the first tooth I ever had and lost went when I was still in the crib, and fell while chewing on the bar).

There are more, but the repeated head injuries prevent me from remembering them all.
