stuart immonen's style in secret identity was very realistic as well.
quitely as well has a very realistic style.
Tropico said:It's ironic how people can praise Cassaday for "his" costume designs and bash Ross (I'm not blaming you specifically, Savage) for his when he came up with the designs that inspired Cassaday's. Check it out.

Aside for the realistic art subject this cat is f--kin' balls!
deemar325 said:Yeah all fine and Dandy, but Ross' designs still blows. Cassaday took his spark and did it 20 times better.
I like Ross, but really he's basically a colorist and would do well to work with pencillars who can get the energy across that he can't while he does the colors.
Tropico said:You're entitled to your opinion just as I'm entitled to think you're dead wrong. 20 times better? There's not much difference between the designs; especially the Wolverine and Cyke ones. A lot of his designs for KC are being used in current comics, not bad for a guy who "sucks at designing costumes".
I don't know if your comments are influenced by his attitude towards the fans. I know some people have started to think his art sucks because of it, I don't. A person's personality doesn't determine how much skill he/she has. Sure, may of the other artists are also good painters. The covers for Annihilation and many of the preceding minis are breathtaking, I love them. Do I consider them more realistic than Ross' art? Sorry, no.
Very good call. That was an amazing piece of work.gildea said:stuart immonen's style in secret identity was very realistic as well.
