Umm...because you see the cop cars rolling up as the bus drives away.
You think these cops are that damn smart? They let a dude in a batsuit do there job.

Yes I am being nit picky. I could be nit picky over Iron Man and not find a glaring fault in the same mold as the bus thing.
Yes all films have flaws, but TDK fans are a breed of fans who will strenuously deny any flaw in the movie. Not saying you are, but some TDK fans are a different breed.

I apologize for the fanboy thing, got a little heated. But as you will see in my previous post, I believe some TDK fans are a different breed of fans. Not saying you are, but they are.
This is probably THE main reason for the recent TDK backlash. Because these, "fans" are ****ing obsessive and annoying, on par with Twilight fans. There is a reason why so many people avoid the Bat boards. Granted it ain't that bad now. But when the next movie starts production, it will all start up again.
But as I've said I'm not on a TDK backlash tip, I'm just pointing out what I genuinely believe are flaws and why I don't think it should be called a masterpiece. And also as I've said, I do think TDK is a great film. But it is not the holy be all and end all like some people like to believe.
That's cool dude, I know your a chill dude. I'm glad that was just a flare and not how you felt lol.
I understand we each have our views of what is flaws and not. And I dont' condemn you for that at all my friend. And yes I think with anything popular Star Wars, Twilight, Harry Potter there does come some really odd people lol.
But there are tons of people that are legit like me, that were here way before the TDK hype, I originally joined in 03 as you can tell under a different name of course. But regardless there are bad fans in anything, and the more popular something is the more fans there are and the more "bad ones there are just due to the law of proportions"
But there are a lot in the film industry/ciritcs as well that praise this movie, and still do. So it is a big film. And I think will go down in the ages. But it is to eaches opinion. You may not think this, and that is cool.
I'm just glad we can continue to discuss on a civil level, because I do enjoy conversing with you. Especially on the Alien sex/rape thing against Celtic Predator lol. We could go back to that thread if you want? lol.
HAHA yea he does seem a little enamoured with that whole "alien rapist" theory. Quite troubling
And that's all cool man. Yea every big thing has good fans and bad fans.
For the record though, I do think TDK will go down in history, well it sorta hasta, considering how much moolah it made! But seriously, I do think it is a great film, I've never denied that. Originally I started off in this thread saying I don't find it that ENJOYABLE though, that doesn't mean I think it less of a film, I don't think TDK is intended to be enjoyable in the traditional sense.
And we have gotten a little off topic. But yea, the main reason there is a bit of a backlash over TDK is the Twilight-esque TDK fans. The ones who turn up in other movie threads and are like "Oh well, it won't be/it ain't as good as TDK".
The Dark Knight (more after it came out, good film but no masterpiece)
Napoleon Dynamite
Spiderman 2
Superman II
300
The Godfather (don't get me wrong a great well made film but maybe not as amazing as people say)
Shrek (1 & 2 more so 2)
maybe i'm the type of person who gets happy when a movie gets attention. Even if people are overhyping it, i tend to ignore them anyway. in most cases, i'm only human after all. or am i?
Im gonna throw out some films that get a ton of love and overhype this year that I didnt think deserved it
500 Days of Summer- Im sorry but is is a romantic comedy and its just dressed in various cliched indie-cinema stylitics
Zombieland- Seriously, again with the narration cliches? You felt like this was done before (and using Jesse Eisenberg in the main role didnt shake off that percpetion). The majority of the film was kinda dull and there was very little zombie kills. Whats good?
Adventureland- This movie was way too boring. I think its one of those movies thats too personal to the director for everyone to releate to. People who grew up in the 80's say they loved it. But it felt very uneventful.
Inglorious Basterds- Yeah I said it. I get the gimmick of the film, but even with that, theres was nothing shockingly amazing about it. Quiten shot it well, but the storyline was just all over the place and you never got a sense of connection.
I'm the same way. I like it. I ignore most of them anywyas. But I get happy when something I love gets attention. But anywho lol.
I don't like it however, if someone makes something up, only to try to prove their argument. Either from sheer lunacy or ignorance.
that's why those people need to go out more often. i can only tolerate so much. haha

So if you was a civilian in the street or one of those cars (and it was PACKED), you wouldn't notice a bus smashing out of a bank? And you wouldn't try to notify the police that are like, 2 seconds away? Or there wouldn't be a crowd gathered around a massive hole in the wall of the bank?
C'mon man, that was flawed. It was a great concept and shows Joker is a genius, but it was ridiculous considering the film aims for that "realism"
This thread will morph into a Dark Knight hate thread.
The haters talk about the Dark Knight more than the lovers, you know its true.
If it wasn't for Heath Ledgers Joker, TDK would be nothing.
